This is for an inhouse sewage sump pump for our lower level. Here is a quote from their email... "then our materials or any business that sells materaisl has a mark up, ours is 55-65% (depending on the material , large items are a little less than smaller itmes such as fittings) so a little more double the actual cost of the materials is a good rule of thumb so your bill was 1750 600 in materials so 1400 there then the 300 an hour ( thats a minumum charge for a site visit) so thats where the 1750 came from" If the material was even marked up just 65% it would have only came to $990 not $1,400. Bath Fixer of La Crosse gutted and remodeled our master bath in 2018 and we experienced many…read moreproblems. Every problem was met with complaints from the owner of us being too picky. 1. You could see seams and screw heads behind the mud after the room was primed and pained. They did fix this but were not happy about it. 2. They did not hang the lights to center on the double sinks and complained when we asked them to be centered (one was an easy fix, the other needed to be moved a couple inches). 3. The grout they used was defective and did not cure. It began to fall out within the first week. The grout manufacturer sent an activator which bath fixer applied. They have been out 2 times to reapply grout over the existing but refused to replace the defective grout. I am now looking to replace the grout and recaulk the shower completely. I have not been able to use the shower in 2 years due to grout cracking and caulk seal. While the first 2 issues were fixed with complaints from the owner and installer, the grout issue is something we have had to live with since it was new and they did not stand behind the products they used. I would have been satisfied with the high price tag if the quality was also high. But considering it was very expensive, it is hard to look at every day.

I also wanted pipes for a shower hookup and a sink hookup. Tom and Brian Callahan came to do the job. They found a partially rotted bean and unstable flooring in the bathroom. They spent three days working to correct all the deficiencies. They did a great job, even though they had to spend a lot of time about 10 feet or more above the stairs on a ladder. Tom even found me a lid to my downstairs toilet, and he didn't charge me for it. The lid had been broken when a cabinet fell off the wall.
