The first week of recovery was honestly pretty rough, but I reached out to Dr. Le and he responded right away and prescribed stronger medication. It helped a lot and made a big difference. She is an outstanding dentist who is not only professional and Intelligence but also possesses a kind and compassionate heart, showing love and care for others. One day I was surprised and shocked to hear that she is no longer working in her office and her office has been sold to other Dentist since April, 2025. I know that from now on there will be no other to replace the level of service she provided. I'm very disappointed that some people out there gave her unfairly low ratings. Those reviews do not accurately reflect the quality of her services. This might have happened due to jealousy or personal reasons. My wife has also been with Dr. Ton for over 12 years, and because of that, neither she nor I have been able to find another dentist who meets our expectations. May the best times of herself and her family past repeat themselves in the future. May the worst times of the past be erased. And would try to do everything himself when most dentists would send you elsewhere for specific procedures. Instead of waiting till you fell asleep to start a procedure, he'd start while you are awake with minimal pain relief, then would use velcro straps to strap children down to the chair. I thought it was strange how they didn't wait n check my insurance first before doing the oral surgery. Surgery was fine but what irritated me was that the top right side of my wisdom tooth still had chunks stuck in my mouth. I waited weeks and weeks for those pieces to fall out. It was very unprofessional of the dentist to allow me to leave without finishing the removal. And what was more irritating and unbelievable was that a couple weeks after my procedure, the dentist called saying that I owe them another $100 because my insurance didnt cover some of it. I was immediately admitted into Long Beach Memorial. Such a scary experience all the way around - my first time in a hospital that wasn't planned. I was facing multiple surgeries. Dr. Blum was the only doctor to come into my room and explain to me what he was going to do to put my jaw back together. I never saw the other surgeons. One sent an assistant. But Dr. Blum was there to ease my fears and convince me it was no big deal. Really put my mind at rest for the first time in the hospital. The recovery wasn't as bad as I thought, having my jaw wired shut for five weeks. It was at times, uncomfortable, but temporary. In the meantime, I had follow ups and got to know his staff, all very nice and friendly. Special shout out to the office manager, Wendy. Such a help during the whole process, always warm greeting and helped me with all my questions. Office is clean and easy to get in and out of and parking is free! I'm doing much better. I look the same and I'm able to eat all the crap I want now. Almost 100% recovered. Hope I never have to see a maxillofacial surgeon again, but if I do, I'll gladly return to Dr. Blum's office.

I only said I had been terminated two days prior. It feels incredibly dishonest and unprofessional to mislead a patient like that and then shift the blame afterward. If I had been told upfront that my insurance wasn't accepted I would have made a different decision. Transparency matters! I made an appointment here because they got on the schedule for next day! Out of pocket for teeth cleaning is $70. If you want xrays, its an additional 30. I opted not to get them because I didn't think I would need them. Dr. Park was my hygienist/Dentist. I've never had a dentist do the plaque removal and polishing before. This was the fastest cleaning I've ever had in my life. It was literally 15 minutes. lots of buffering and spitting. Tbh, it wasn't very enjoyable. I know most dentist appointments aren't.
