Shield X had the best price for a windshield chip repair. I drove over & it was repaired while I waited. I have not had a chip repair done before but I was disappointed it is still visible & unsightly. Fortunately it is above my eyeline so not in my field of view while driving. Hopefully the repair will stop any cracks from developing. But next time I will try a windshield repair specialist even if it cost ~$30 more.

Great place in Oside to get tint and windshield repair/replacement! Good atmosphere and friendly staff.

Got the Standard 5% tint and it came out very good and it only took about an hour. Would recommend

Small business, deserves all the praise! They were quick but efficient and fit me in the schedule the same week that I called. Definitely priced well and kept it affordable without overcharging like a lot of places in Oceanside do. No bubbles and really happy with the results :) Thanks!

Just got a brand new windshield from Shield X! I was recommended to this place and went with them because of their pricing being perfect for my budget. Called ahead to have them order and they had the windshield less available to install less then a week. I arrived with no approximate appointment time. They told me to arrive sometime in the morning. Which I arrived around 9:45ish the taken back for service immediately. Great service and only took an hour. So fast and excellent service!!. Have no complaints and definitely will recommend this place and come back in the future. Thank you again for the awesome customer service!

This is the rear, it had 5 percent but owners ensured top quality as there was a defect

Emails were responded to in a timely manner, came in a a saturday morning, typically it would take 2 hours but there was a problem with the tint not sticking. The owners made sure that quality was top notch even if it took multiple tries

Steve and the Shield X team did a great job providing my family with comfort and privacy. From the first visit I was given a great demonstration of the products they provide. This made it that much easier to get what I needed. I was in and out less than 2 hours. Hoping this review helps others choose them! Thanks Steve!

Great prices and quantity work. Stopped in to see about a quote and had my windows looking great in less than one hour. Highly recommend!

Took two cars and did and amazing job. Called before hand and gave a me a very reasonable price for both and was very pleased with the results. Would for sure recommend this tiny shop for others

This is my second time coming here to remove my tint because of a ticket the prices are super fair and was in and out in less than 30 minutes

Great service, quick and easy. Had a great demonstration of how each tint works and looks. Friendly as well. I'm excited to drive my car and not have to feel like i'm getting burnt from the inside especially because i have leather seats.

Came here to get my 4Runner tinted last year. These guys do good work. Came back with my truck and it looks amazing. Definitely worth getting your tint done here.

They did an amazing job installing all around. Highly recommend them.

Great job all around and same day service. Value of product is good ceramic. The review didnt show up the first time so here it is. They were able to fit me in very last minute and get it all done same day. The film was so clean right to the edage of the glass which is very important to me. Clean, precision and affordable. Over all very happy.

Got my windows tinted almost 7 years ago, the back started to slightly bubble, I called and they easily fit me in and replaced the windshield under the warranty. No hassle or issues. Easy peasy. Will always have my windows tinted here. They do great work, are honest and honor warranty without a fuss. read more

The gentlemen of Shied X are always respectful. Although it is convenient for me being x2 doors away from Excel JiuJitsu (my extended family), Shield X product quality is also top notch. We discussed the different SunTek options: Classic Composition, High Performance, and Ceramic. There's also this model to help demonstrate UV penetration for each. I chose ceramic since my goal is to limit how much heat I can feel from sun-rays. 3 cars so far. I'm sure I'll be bringing my next vehicle back to them. Highly recommended. read more

These guys were awesome! They gave me an accurate quote over the phone, and then were able to fit me in same day. I can't say this is normal practice for them as they are a busy shop, but they did their best to accommodate me immediately. I was referred here by my dad (4 years ago); they tinted the windows on my Ford Fiesta!! WOOOHOOO they did a fabulous job. I then referred my mom here; and yet again - another gorgeous job. This past weekend I treated my boyfriend to a window tint for his birthday! And you guessed it...YET AGAIN another beautiful job! They offer friendly customer service (for your convenience give them a call and make an appt. and they'll give you a price estimate over the phone!), gorgeous work, thee best prices I have ever seen, top quality tinting, and their hard work is unmatched. They also offer a LIFETIME WARRANTY on your tint (as long as you keep your receipt/paper...but that's easy; just keep it safe in your car!). I highly recommend Shield-X for all of your car tinting needs!!! read more

Very friendly and helpful people, nice little building they have as well. He explained the warranty for my ceramic tint well and gave me a warranty card with the tint. Well priced when compared to most of the other tint places in the area. They also have a little waiting areas with a tv and cold/hot water. My only recommendation would be to add a Keurig or something like that so that there can be a variety of beverages while you wait. A minor complaint for what you get here though. Attached is a picture of their 3 types of films they use, as well as a heat lamp in a box with their 3 films so you can see how well heat travels through the films. Very helpful tool in the decision making process of which type of film to get. read more

I went back and the gentleman were very nice and and accommodating. I am very pleased with the workmanship and quality of the product. I did not get a window tint, so this review is not about the workmanship. This shop was recommended to me by 2 local mechanics for quality. However, the first time I brought my vehicle in for tinting I was quoted $1,000 for the whole large van. I wanted to get 2 cars done, so we worked a deal to do both cars for $1,200 (the second was a tiny hybrid) and when I scheduled the service, took an entire day off from work, the guy said it was now going to cost $1,200 to do just the large van!? How does the price go up $200?? Poor customer service and the most difficult & confusing quoting process I've ever experienced. I would call it a bait & switch, but I honestly just think the person was just that bad at customer service! read more

A friend referred me to Shield-X, and I couldn't be happier with the overall experience. I called for a price quote on a Saturday afternoon, expecting to hear some crazy number (I have 9 windows x.x) that I'd have to save up for. Upon hearing it would be $250 to tint my Subaru, and that they could do it in a couple of house, I scheduled the appointment. I dropped the car off and came back at the time they told me it would be ready. Car was ready right on time and looked great! Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for quality car window tinting at a good value. *Note: there are a few levels of tint you can choose from. I did the standard level. read more

I recently had my car windows tinted by Shield-X, and I couldn't be happier with the results! From start to finish, the experience was top-notch. The team at Shield-X is incredibly professional and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain the different tinting options available and helped me choose the perfect one for my vehicle. The quality of the tinting job is outstanding. The windows look sleek and stylish, and the tint provides excellent privacy and UV protection. I was particularly impressed with the precision and attention to detail the technicians demonstrated during the installation process. There were no bubbles or imperfections, and the finished product looks flawless. Customer service was exceptional throughout. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and efficient, ensuring that the job was completed promptly without compromising on quality. The waiting area was clean and comfortable, making the short wait time pleasant. Overall, I highly recommend Shield-X for anyone looking to get their car windows tinted. Their expertise, quality of work, and commitment to customer satisfaction are truly commendable. I will definitely be returning for any future tinting needs and will be recommending them to all my friends and family! read more

Recently went in to get my windows tinted for my 2008 Nissan Frontier, and i have prior knowledge with tinting so i know what is good and what is bad, so i did some research in the oceanside area for local tint shops with the best quality film and warranty along with price, i called shield-x 2nd and i talked to a guy named lee and he told me about the film, warranty, and price and i scheduled an appointment for the same day because they obviously knew what they were talking about! I came in later that day for my appointment and the first things i noticed were is the shop looked like a REAL DEAL tint shop, the employees were very nice and informative telling me my car would be done in between 1-3 hours so i dropped the car off and said call me when its done, they called me 1 hour an a half later so it was alot faster then i expected and i am very pleased with this QUALITY shop! Overal the tint job looked AWESOME with absolutly nothing wrong except a suburb tint job.. Shield-X is definately getting all my business and i will forsure recommend this shop to anyone who is looking for a great tint job! Thanks you guys for your awesome service!!! read more

I'm long time costumer to this company. I am amazed and shocked how good they do because that's what they been doing it for long time. It takes time to earn trust that they will not fool me by playing games. As I recall my very first time. I wanted to tint my windows because the car had no tint what so ever and since here during in summer gets warm and hot, so you need something to block and keep cool inside your car. So I was driving by and decided. "Why not give it a shot here and see how legit they are?". So I stopped and asked for price. The price they quoted me was very funny at first (amazing price) so we agreed on it. I waited maybe 35 min or so to get my whole car windows tinted. When I saw the results, I was amazed by it. It was precious job done with legit and good price. I have nothing else to say just if you are looking for good, well done and short time, then you know where to go. Shield-X !! Thank you Owner for amazing job done even I came back today to do minor repair on different car that i own still turned out like it's nothing there. Keep up good work you guys and looking in the future to make business with you guys! read more

do not use shield x the company has been sold to foreigners who barley speak english and have no liscenced installers the automotive replacement glass industry is highly regulated by federal motor vehicle saftey standards the windshield is the structural integrity of your car the airbags rely on the windshield to properly protect the occupants in the car if the windshield is not correctly installed ( can be something as simple as one missed step) then upon impact in a collision the airbags will launch the windshield 200 feet away from the car and the occupants could follow it is for that reason that all auto glass installers should be certified as a proffessional in the trade there are too many reasons this should be left to proffessionals and not just people trying to make a quick buck your saftey is paramount and unskilled and unliscenced companies like this need to go away read more

Its hard to find time to go get something like this done with a busy schedule. Today i was off a little early so i took advantage of the opportunity. I did a little bit of research last night found a place, but what I didn't see was that they were closed Mondays. Disappointed I pulled out my phone and did another search and i found Shield-x. I took a drive there and as i walked in I was greeted by a friendly staff. Being a walk in, I was surprised they were able to get to me the same day, but they did. They explained that there were some cars ahead of me and would be able to get to me soon. They got the job done quickly and i am impressed with the work. Thank you for working on my truck the windows look great! Also enjoy the company of the dog hanging around! Came up to me for some pets and took a nap at my feet. read more

A tint place you can trust! For weeks I was trying to find the right place to get my Mini cooper tinted. After numerous outrageous quotes and shady car stereo tint installers (almost all claimed to use premium film, but never had what the said in stock) I found Shield-x. Not only are they honorable and trustworthy, but the quality of their work is OUTSTANDING! They only use Suntek window film, (which includes a lifetime warranty card) so you know you're getting quality film. On top of everything else, their customer service is top notch, every question or concern was resolved. This is the second time I have returned to them to tint my new Lexus Without saying, I'll will continue going to Shield-x for my car tint from now on! Awesome! read more

I was looking for a good place to get my windows tinted and of course I went straight to yelp to look at local businesses . This was the only place with good reviews . I called and asked if I could do a walk in and he said sure come on by. I sat there with my son and he played with his dog, we watched tv and had a pleasant time waiting . My son kept wanting to go see our "new car" so we went to go look and the guy had told us we could come into his garage and watch if we'd like. He did an amazing job! He also went out of his way and fixed the weatherstripping on my door. He was so kind, caring and gentle with the work he did. I'd definitely recommend this business ! read more

First the Good: Clean shop, friendly service, nice waiting room and reasonable prices. Now the not so good: Was quoted an out the door price for new windshield including new moldings but they tried to charge extra for the molding. They accidentally cut the speaker hands free microphone wire removing the windshield. No problem, everyone makes mistakes but they hid what they did instead of telling us and let us leave without the hands free cell phone speaker working. Would have been a 5 star review if they simply would have been honest and told us they cut it and didn't know how to fix it. Would I use them again? Probably not. read more

Hello everyone my name is Dr. Jonathan Dean. Recently, I purchased a 2019 Honda accord LX. When I purchased the vehicle, it did not have window tint and I knew I needed it. I was referred to Shield X by a good friend of mine ( I owe him a huge thank you). Not only was the service professionally done, it was cost effective. Moreover, the owners were very warm, inviting and informative. Honestly LOL, this was my first time ever getting a vehicle tinted. This was a very positive experience and I will also refer family and friends to Shield X. Respectfully, Dr. Jonathan Dean, PsyD read more

They did a great job! Quick, efficient and accommodating to our schedule. My bf called them and they were able to get him in within 30 minutes after calling on the weekend! They are able to get our car in and out within three hours and did an amazing job. We will be returning customers for our other car and would recommend them to any of our friends and family. Very skilled and extremely good quality of work. I know what I am talking about because I have been to other places and no one has done or accomodated me like they did. read more

I have been coming to shield x for every car I've owned. Amazing service and the product lasts for years. No bubbles and everything is done super professionally. Value for the price is amazing as well since I still shop around to see what everyone else is charging. But I keep coming back because I've seen the quality of their work and they're also super quick. Comfortable waiting area if you want to stick around, also great restaurants in the same plaza if you don't want to wait around. Best auto tinting in Oceansid, CA. read more

I spent a few days calling and getting quotes..I researched heat, glare and UV rejection. Hands down Jae gave me the best deal for my 2017 fusion! I was pleased to get a great tint and same day service! I was in and out in under two hours and the overall product, quality workmanship and customer service is why I would recommend Shield X to anyone who is looking to upgrade the look and feel of their vehicle. I have had probably six vehicles tinted by this shop, and every single job has been flawless. I've never had any issues with the tint, and the quality has always exceeded my expectations. The staff is incredibly friendly, professional, and efficient. They work quickly without sacrificing quality, and they even welcome walk-ins, which is a huge plus. I highly recommend this tint shop to anyone looking for top-quality work and outstanding customer service. You won't be disappointed! read more

I requested an appointment for tint for my brand new purchased i4 BMW eDrive 40 and they got back to me right away and could schedule me right away. They were very efficient and provided quality service and product on my windows. I was quite impressed at how quick they installed the tint and how seamless and error-free it was on my vehicle. I highly recommended this tint shop for your vehicle! They have three tint level options and are moderately priced but worth the investment. read more

Brought both my cars to them, a Nissan Versa and Subaru Outback. Was able to make an appointment the next morning when I called. It was so easy and was done is great time. Got some shopping done while they worked. The price was amazing and my cars look perfect. The owners where so nice and I got to cuddle with their pup for a bit. If I ever need a car done again I'm definitely coming back. 5 stars in my book and will recommend them to my family and friends. Thanks again read more

Created account just to shout out to them. Loved how they top notched my car with all around window tint and full tail light tint on my jeep. Probably the best deal I could have got in Oceanside and best completion. I got 15% front and 5% on the back, taillight I had 5% all around. I think this suits best tint combo among different shades. Not to dark on the front but still keeps the sun out and fully limo on the back. They also had killing lobby so overall, I loved it. read more

I have been getting my car windows tinted and all my windshields from Jay and Nan for many years. I even had a 63 T-Bird up in Northern California and couldn't find one for a reasonable price. She found me one for an amazing price, shipping included to an installer up there. Their tint work is superior bar none, and the most reasonably priced I've found. I bring all my cars, new and old, for windshields and tinting. I recommend them to everyone. read more

Jae was real cool & easy to talk to. It was a rainy Friday afternoon, called ahead time & said they'd be able to tint all 5 windows in under an hour since it's not busy. Brought my car in, told him what I wanted, signed my papers, & they got me. They offer 3 different tints: standard pro, high performance, & CIR. I got the high performance & Jae hooked me up. Better pricing than most around here ! Appreciate it! read more

From the moment I arrived, their team demonstrated professionalism, knowledge, and excellent customer service. They use 3M film, one of the most reputable brands in the industry, and the results show it. Definitely shields heat. So much cooler in my car. If you're looking for knowledgeable staff, high-quality work, and exceptional customer service, this is the place. A few weeks ago I noticed a crack starting to spread across my windshield, and as most people know, once a crack starts it only gets worse. I began calling around to a few places to compare prices and availability, and Brother's Auto Glass immediately stood out. From the very first phone call, they were polite, professional, and incredibly helpful. They took the time to explain my options without trying to upsell anything unnecessary, which I really appreciated. Scheduling the appointment was simple and convenient. They were able to work around my schedule and even offered flexible timing, which made the whole process stress-free. Communication was excellent throughout the process. They confirmed the appointment, arrived on time, and kept everything very organized. When the technician arrived, you could immediately tell they knew what they were doing. They were professional, respectful, and took their time to make sure everything was done correctly. Before starting, they explained the process of replacing the windshield and answered all the questions I had. It's always reassuring when someone is confident and transparent about their work. The installation itself was smooth and efficient. They handled the vehicle carefully, protected the surrounding areas, and made sure everything was clean when they finished. The quality of the work was outstanding -- the new windshield looks perfect, and everything was installed with great attention to detail. There were no shortcuts taken. Another thing that impressed me was how honest and straightforward the entire experience felt. The price they quoted me was exactly what I paid. No surprise fees, no last-minute add-ons, and no pressure. In today's world that kind of honesty really stands out. Customer service is something a lot of businesses struggle with, but Brother's Auto Glass absolutely excels at it. They were friendly, respectful, and genuinely seemed to care about doing the job right and making sure I was satisfied. If you're looking for a reliable, professional, and trustworthy auto glass company, I highly recommend Brother's Auto Glass. Whether it's a windshield replacement, chip repair, or any other auto glass service, they clearly take pride in their work and treat customers with respect. It's rare to find a business that combines quality workmanship, fair pricing, and excellent customer service all in one place, but Brother's Auto Glass definitely does. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future and will absolutely recommend them to friends and family. Five stars all the way.
