Here's the thing, although they're not very conventional and no this is not Guy Tran -they have a system and however it makes you FEEL it get the job done at a price everyone can afford. The girls are never rude you over sensitive people! They're just too busy for the niceties you get for when you pay 70 bucks for a haircut that really is only worth 35. I've never had a bad hair color or hair cut experience here. It's always been a great look no matter what. The products they use are also awesome and honestly I never feel the pressure to buy products like you do at other places. These ladies do their job and do it well. I know what it is like to demand good service, but be pragmatic ladies if you want to have your culito kissed not even the places I've paid $85 dollars for a trim have offered me that. Cultivate a relationship with any staff or professional who does your hair. Everyone on here sounded like a little self entitled or having a bad day. That's ok too but take it easy and give em a try, they are irrefutably the best value in terms of a good Dominican salon. Love Ninas and her staff

Service was fast and seemed good but my hair smelled disgusting like burnt chemicals. Finally washed it and the smell is still slightly there and scalp feels very sensitive. Also my curls on the top portion of my hair hair is severely damaged, like pin straight. It seems like it was relaxed. I'm convinced that the nasty smell was indeed a relaxer that wasn't properly washed out. I'm not sure if this is one of those salons that slip relaxer in the shampoo/conditioner or if they just use so much heat without heat protectors and that damaged my hair. But regardless of what it was that damaged my hair, I'm pretty disappointed and won't be coming back. Don't get your hair done here is you're natural.

Let me just say - absolutely wonderful couple and OH MY GOODNESS if I didn't live 2 hours away I would come and get my hair washed here every week. The hair washing and massage alone was AMAZING. As for the haircut. YESSS!!!! FINALLY!!! thank you God, I found a hairstylist who understands what I want and follows through. The pixie cut blends in so well and it's exactly what I wanted. Prior hairstylists have left the pixie cuts looking choppy, Sammy blended in the layering perfectly. It took me 6 years to find someone and regardless of the drive I will NOT be going elsewhere to get my hair done. Sammy and his wife make an amazing team. God bless them both.

They washed my hair and put conditioner on it. Then Sammy sprayed leave in conditioner on it too. I asked him what he sprayed on my hair because he didn't tell me and I said I like to know what they're going to use before they use it. With that he said he would not cut my hair. Sammy is a control freak. He want to do what he wants to do and you better not question him. Not good. When you're a paying customer you get to say what you want not the other way around. I came in there looking good. I left looking like I don't know what. He dried my hair but did not style it! This was a very bad experience and if I were you, I would not use Sammy.
