If you're looking to start a painting project Sherwin-
Williams is the place to come. They have every
color/shade/hue under the sun and then some
more! It's literally a crayola box times 100! Want to
know just how good the quality of their paint is?? I
have owned 5 homes in the last 12 years and all 5 homes have had Sherwin-Williams paint- nothing
less than the best! I might also add that I have 5 offspring, who have done their fair share of being kids. This paint has taken a beating at all 4 past homes and always looks beautiful and like the 1st day it was painted. We are currently in the process of painting our current home with all Sherwin Williams paint and the results thus far are just as outstanding as in the past. From eggshell, to flat to semi-gloss and satin- I've tried it all and love each of them in their appropriate spaces.
Sherwin-Williams satin is your best bet, which tolerates light scrubbing and can be wiped clean. Eggshell finishes are somewhat resistant to stains and scuffs, and would be a good bet too, if you don't want that shiny finish that satin tends to have. Both have worked amazing in my homes for all the millions of touching of the walls by my kids over the years. Sherwin-Williams paint also works great in the kitchen and high traffic areas.
Do you get it yet?? Sherwin-Williams can with stand it all! If all my homes could look beautiful with five rambunctious kids imagine what you're could look like!
Our current color for all the ceilings and wainscoting is Gypsum, and the most recent color, done in my formal dining room turned yoga room, is Cascades. It turned out absolutely gorgeous!!
If you're looking to start a new paint project, I highly recommend any Sherwin-Williams store. This particular location has awesome employees, who are welcoming and willing to help. They have a vast amount of idea books and paint chips, all for free, for you to take home. Get inspired and bring some color to your life. read more
