I don't visit too often but Saturday mornings often find me in Old South and at least a few times a year I make it into Tuckey's - including this past weekend. I cannot remember a time when they ever didn't have what I was looking for. That being said, I suspect their prices are slightly higher than the big box stores and the selection is clearly smaller. They have one or two options for each item - not twenty or thirty. I honestly don't mind spending an extra buck or two and most the items I'm looking for are relatively small items. Of course, in any Home Hardware carries it they will apparently have it shipped their for you. All that being said, the staff here are super friendly and it has a real friendly vibe. Staff are talking to each other, chatting with customers who are chatting with each other. It's great. They have a garden centre when the season is right and lots of stuff out on the sidewalk to catch the interest of the many people walking by. In closing, they're ideally located with in the heart of Old South and I hope they always be. I'll make a point to continue shopping there whenever I am in the area to ensure that happens.
