My wife inquired about exterior latex paints and was told about the distribution supply problem and that we might have to wait on this. No problem. She purchased several gallons of undercoat, a couple brushes etc and left. Since then we've heard NADA from this guy or the store. Today, Saturday the 24th of July, I called to inquire about out order and learned this store is not even open on Saturday, and they don't even have a method to leave a message. WOW a new low in customer service at a time when stores should be busting their chops to deliver. I called the Seattle store and they told me it's a corporate policy to close stores on Saturday if the volume is not there! I could expect this type of penny pinching from a Mom and Pop store (and where ARE those Mom and Pop paint stores anyway?), but not from Rodda, which is owned by Cloverdale Paint of Canada - THE LARGEST PAINT manufacturer in Canada. I contacted regional supervisor Brian Tracy, 425-591-4166, by phone today and since he was "not in" I left a message just inquiring about the Lacey Store and that we would no longer be customers. My advice: shop elsewhere!

When I visited on…read more1/28/2025, Blaine who was in the middle of stocking plywood, stopped what he was doing, took the time to ask if I needed help, gave me great advice on selecting and finding the appropriate product and helped me pull an 85 lb sheet of plywood off the stack and load it onto my cart. My experience with Lansang was also great as she patiently helped me find the SKU for my plywood and sent me on with a smile. I would only surmise that the authentic customer service that I experienced is a direct reflection of the management team of this Lowes and I am greatly appreciative of this for someone who does much of the work on their own and frequents this location about once a month on average. The only time I was disapointed when coming to this store 6 times over the last 6 months was when all the 3/8 inch compression fit brass couplers were sold out, but that was sorta on me as the online stock did say there was a limited amount.

Not only respectful, always prompt, clean, they did a great job. I have since hired Almaraz Construction to complete my interior remodel of my round house which is challenging and unique. He came to our home on time and did a thorough walk around our home and gave us a detailed bid. For reference we had most of our siding replaced, and the entire outside of our home painted, including front door, gutters, along with some other repairs. I found Jose and crew, to be professional at every turn, I liked that he had a detailed contract and several options for payments. His price was fair after receiving another bid. It is a lot of trust having work done in and around your home, Jose met and exceeded my high expectaions of doing an excellent, and detailed job. He takes pride in his work. Communication was seamless throughout the project, that is important to me, he even answered the phone when I was calling him while at the paint store getting a sample to try a color out. I highly recommend trying colors out on your house before finalizing your choice. Do you think he smoothed out the edges prior to painting? Look at the photo!!! Again, He DOES NOT CARE about a quality job! He must have looked at them and thought "this is really crappy... Oh well". The trim in my kitchen: The ENTIRE KITCHEN has wood-stained trim that I installed 10 years ago... He PAINTED THEM!!!!! What? Now *I* have to rip them out and purchase NEW TRIM and replace them, because the Lone Painter can't make an intelligent association on whether to paint, or NOT paint the cabinet floor trim.
