Imbued with this "buy local" spirit, I drove to the store to purchase a product priced $30 higher than I would have paid on Amazon. The person who worked in paint on Aug 13, 2022 at 3:30pm, who asked if they could help me, turned out to be condescending, demeaning and downright rude, leaving me no choice but to walk out of the store, extremely agitated and frustrated, and with great restraint, not irate. I then went to Great Lakes Ace in Novi, and by stark contrast, the service I received in Novi was stellar, making for a very pleasant 5* experience. It doesn't take much to treat a customer right to build loyalty and advocacy. But when the customer has been wronged, they will go out of their way to take their business elsewhere.
