My local store is Jones Creek, but they told me if I'd go to the Choctaw Store that I could get it, and they could even custom tint it for me. Even though the storefront was closed due to COVID, the gentleman who helped me at Choctaw brought out color samples and was patient as I looked them over to select the perfect one. I was able to get my custom color tinted Limewash within a week or so and I love it. I reached out just today via email to get another product and was emailed right back by James Doucet who said he'd take care of it for me. This is your neighborhood business level customer service! Went to Lowe's, Baton Rouge on Millerville on Saturday ready to buy a washing machine. We looked…read moreand found one we like for $899.00. We had the truck with us and we're going to take it then. The whole time we were there looking nobody was there to help us. When we found what we wanted there was still nobody to help us. We waited a few more minutes, called Lowe's to tell them to please send somebody to help us and the phone rang about 20 times and nobody answered. We left. We went to STINES in Walker and were immediately greeted by a very knowledgeable man. He answered so many questions we had. We bought our washer and immediately took it home and set it up. Lowe's use to be our "go to" but I think after Saturday we will start using Stines. They are a lot closer to us anyway. I'm sure Lowe's couldn't care less about my experience but I wanted to let others know how badly Lowe's has gone down in the last year or so.

Beware the 48 hour return policy on appliances and terrible customer service. It doesn't matter…read morethat you come buy a brand new appliance and it doesn't work right out of the box. They will do absolutely nothing to make it right. I was never told I had 48 hours to make sure it worked, and no I didn't read fine print when buying from a company as established as Lowes. I get better customer service from ordering things on Temu, and every other brick & mortar as well as online retailer. I purchased a dryer on Friday night, tried multiple times to get it to work on Sunday and it didn't heat up. Called on Monday and was told by the associate that I was too late by policy, but that I could bring it back and ask to speak to a manager. I loaded the thing up and drove 30 minutes to the store to be told sorry we can't take it back! When I called on Monday I actually thought they would bring me a new one and swap it out...what a foolish thing to think. Now I am stuck with a broken, brand new dryer and the personal responsibility to try to get the manufacturer to make it right. The only reason I bought it from them was because it was available for me to take and use immediately, now who knows how long it will take to get this new dryer to work. Actually I don't want this one anymore, I want my money back so I can buy a good machine from a decent company that stands by the products they sell.

I have a commercial account at Sherwin Williams on Jefferson Highway in Baton Rouge. I bought some…read morepaint yesterday and returned at 10:20am today to get another gallon and separately, a pint of different paint. I was in a hurry and the only customer in the store. There were three teammates on duty. I explained what I need including handing them a quart that I purchased yesterday and indicated that I wanted a gallon of this paint color...and provided the specs on the quart. I indicated that I was in a hurry and asked if he could knock it out in about 10 minutes. The guy said...give me 15 minutes which was fine. I returned in 15 minutes to find that nothing had happened other than they determined that they were out of the quart that I needed. I said, please get it for me today and I'll take the gallon and be on my way. The response I got was that we have been busy and the gallon is at the bottom of a pallet. "Our printer is broken and we have been working on this". I explained that I had to take my wife to a doctor's appointment and was in a hurry. I got no sense of urgency, no apology for the delay. If you were writing a case study on how to provide terrible service, this would be a great example. Next, the guy asked me if the gallon of paint was satin or semi-gloss. I told him that I brought the can in and the other fellow that helped me wrote everything down. The guy said that it shows an S on the slip but I'm not sure what he meant. I responded...so you want me to go back to my truck and get the can again...the answer was yes so I did it. In any event, what was going to take 15 minutes took about 40 minutes for one gallon of paint when there were not other customers there...they did get a call or two. I asked how soon they can get the quart that I needed sent over and was told a couple of hours. That was about 10:55am. I was asked for my phone number and I said that I had provided it to the other guy...so I gave it to him and departed with the understanding that they would call me when the quart arrived. I never got a call back so at 4pm, I called to see if I could pick up the quart and he said it is not here yet...five hours later when I was told a couple of hours. I asked for the latest ETA and he said later this afternoon...and asked for my phone number. I told him that I had twice provided my phone number but did so a third time. it is now 4:15 and I'm waiting on a call. JUST TERRIBLE SERVICE...with the old store associates a year ago, the service was great...it has gone downhill fast.
