The woman helping me appeared to be quite intelligent and noticed something on the paint can of the remainder of a cheaper paint I had bought, which I had overlooked and was essential to deciding on the paint to be used. They are good about calling you back to tell you the paint is ready and taking their time to be sure the match is good. Previous to going to SW, I went to one of the large home improvement centers to get a refill of paint. When I started painting, I noticed the color was quite different from what I had brought to get matched. I even had the code on the can. The software had been changed, upgraded, and that affected my paint, according to the employee who talked to me for over an hour about the problem. I decided I needed to go to a store just dealing with paint-good paint. I decided it is worth the cost to buy better paint based on videos I watched where they compared paints. I read the other review here and believe they were mistreated. I think this type of thing happens all the time where even though a person bought a lot of stuff, the transactions were not recorded. Over several years I painted the exterior of every building and every interior room on my farm so I got to know them well. It didn't matter if I was buying a paint brush or hundreds of $$ of paint, there was always great service and that's the way they treat everyone that comes through the door. And, they have spent countless hours with me helping to match paints and stains or altering colors of already-purchased paints that were not quite the color I wanted. Plus, they will maintain a record for you in their system of which room a certain paint color is used in. They can get busy sometimes and that results in a bit of a wait but that can happen anywhere. Don't buy paint from the "big box" stores when you've got such a great local resource.
