I am pleased to rate Piedmont Painting and Finish (Piedmont) as a stellar, five-star company. They…read morehave fully earned the honor. I define business excellence in what I refer to as the "Four C's:" Competence. Communication. Cost. Character. Piedmont easily met all four prongs. Accordingly, my experience with this great company is best described as EXCELLENT. My home painting projects, located near Charlottesville, Virginia, came under the leadership of the Project Manager -- Mr. Tobin McCrillis. Upon my first meeting with Mr. McCrillis, while I was considering other painting professionals, I knew within five minutes that Piedmont would be my company for all of my home painting needs. All other prospective companies were no longer under consideration. Mr. McCrillis exudes the confidence that his team knows fully what they are doing (competence). He makes every reasonable effort to keep the customer/client fully apprised and he is very responsive when asked any questions (communication). Every reasonable effort is made by Piedmont to provide the highest quality service at a reasonable price (cost). Very importantly, based on my initial and continued interactions with Mr. McCrillis and the owner -- Mr. Charlie Davis, I knew that I could trust the integrity of this company. They keep their promises and they are honest people (character). Mr. Davis has done a commendable job of setting the highest standards of integrity, professionalism and customer satisfaction throughout his company. Mr. McCrillis ensured that his team lived up to those high standards from the beginning to the completion of the project. I have never before experienced a company of any sort so devoted to professionalism as Piedmont is. Under the overall leadership of Charlie Davis, and the project leadership of Tobin McCrillis, this company is committed to getting the job done right the first time. Therefore, appropriately on Thanksgiving Day, 2024, I do not hesitate to extend my highest personal recommendation and gratitude to Piedmont Paint and Finish. They are a first-class company and a real pleasure to do business with! Shenandoah Titus, Esq.

Piedmont Paint provided professional painting on the interior of our home for our great room,…read morekitchen, foyer, stairwell + landings, and built-in bookcases. Our contractor grade paint job had used cheap paint and there were many drywall nail pops and other defects that needed repair in the high traffic, most used areas of our home. The estimation phase went well; every aspect of the job was discussed to establish the homeowner's expectations. The resulting estimate was sufficiently detailed and the negotiated price was reasonable as I already suspected that the quality of work would be high, an important factor in our experience. There is no sense in getting a cut-rate price if a contractor is going to worry about making a profit and therefore tempted to cut corners. Piedmont Paint kept us informed as to job start and progress every step of the way. They provided their expertise on paint selection and made value added recommendations. Their paint crew was prompt, courteous, and thoughtful in addition to being expert in their craft. They took deliberate care in the many drywall repairs required and prepped all surfaces appropriately. At the end of every day, they cleaned up and moved their work materials to one side. During the final hours, the crew touched up the small number of areas that required added attention. They finished on-time and the job was completed just the way it was written up. It is refreshing to deal with true professionals who take pride in their work and their reputation. We highly recommend Piedmont Paint to any homeowner or business who values quality and professionalism.
