I was given several quotes/options. NOT ONCE was I told this project couldn't be done or that they couldn't fit me in the schedule. Now today - in early APRIL one month out from templating I get a call from the owner saying they CANNOT DO THE JOB because it's "too complicated" and they don't have the people and their schedule is "FULL" even though I've been in constant contact with them for MONTHS. Then the guy had the absolute gall to BLAME ME for thinking he'd hold a spot for me even though I have the emails to prove I'd been in constant contact for months. Building a new home is not for the faint of heart. But to leave a homeowner in the lurch like this at the VERY LAST MINUTE is unconscionable and absolutely SHAMEFUL. Buyer beware.

We had picked out our appliances prior to our visit, something that should be noted. When the time came to install the custom cabinets, the island color/wood type was completely wrong. The width of the refrigerator opening was pretty much the exact size of the width of the refrigerator. They never asked the dimensions, they just said it'll be fine and they'll take care of it at the consultation. And lastly, we had purchased a drawer type microwave, which they had the dimensions for from the appliance people. After installation, we noticed two 2X4 blocks underneath the microwave. Custom cabinets? Custom install? More like a cob job to make it fit correctly. We are very displeased with this business and would not suggest them to anyone. The other thing that left us annoyed was the fact that when we asked how much the upgrades would cost, just an approximation, the owner underestimated by about $4000-5000. For someone who has been doing this for as long as she has, one would think she would have better estimation skills. Please be careful if you are doing business with them, not a good experience.

I had Gratech gut and remodel my upstairs bathroom which was finished in October of this year. I…read morenoticed in early December that the seams on the 3 piece shower wall kit from American Standard were all failing. I looked up the product on the Lowes website and read the manufacturers instructions which called for adding additional studs behind that wall to support it. I work from home, I never saw any additional studs being added to support the wall which then voids the manufacturers warranty. I also found cracks in my living room plaster ceiling that weren't there prior to the contractor cutting a hole in my ceiling to access pipes. I have contacted them numerous times, after I told them that they didn't correctly install the wall kit per the manufacturers specs they have stopped replying to me. They were very nasty when I questioned their work and said that I signed off on it the day that they left. That is ridiculous, how would we know that the grout would all give out a few months later due to improper installation. Now today my daughter went to take a bath and water started pouring out of my living room ceiling right under the tub. If your looking to hire a completely unprofessional contractor who will take 8K from you and refuse to stand by any of the work that they did this is the company for you. I just called about the water pouring out of my ceiling and of course still no answer. My hubby thought that paying a handyman to recaulk would fix the issues but I suspected that there was way more wrong with their sloppy work and I was correct. Time to hire a "real" contractor to tear out their work and fix it, then take this company to court to get my money back.
