Whether it's a new wood stove, or outdoor furniture, you can't go wrong with this place. My wife…read moreand I have purchased several pieces of patio and deck furniture here over the years and they have always been quite helpful. Today we went shopping for a new wood stove to replace an existing stove. I must say that the sales person was very well informed about his product. He greeted us promptly, but gently as to not intrude in case we wanted to just look around. We spent about 20 minutes today with him and I'm sure we will be purchasing a stove in the very near future. Their selection is some of the best I've seen in the valley and if you've read my review about a certain other store in West Springfield, you'll understand why this store is such a breat of fresh air!

Axiom was tremendously overpriced, very unprofessional, and very difficult to communicate with. I…read moreabsolutely do not recommend them. During the winter, they did remove the snow pretty well, but their prices were extremely high, and they charged for a lot of extra services that were not really needed. Then in the spring, they did a lot of "spring cleanup" work that I didn't ask for, and that wasn't needed, and of course they charged a lot of money for that work. The way their contract is written, they are just able to do whatever kind of work they want and charge whatever huge price they want for it , without even asking, and then the customer has to pay. It seems like a form of dishonesty, really. I guess it's legal because it's in contract in a kind of a vague way, but it's deceptive. Even the mowing was very expensive and they kept putting in extra charges for things I didn't want. Also, communication with Axiom is difficult, almost impossible. They are very unprofessional. I now have a different landscaping and snow removal company that I love. I had to pay an extra $400 to get out of my contract with Axiom, but it was worth it. My new company is 100% better, easy to communicate with, and does beautiful, work for less than 1/4 of what Axiom was charging.

Not the same!! Whomever is operating under the Calder name…read moreis destroying their wonderful reputation. I have used them several times over the years. On Tuesday, a spring snapped. I called and it was like I was a new customer. They would get somebody out on Thursday, maybe sooner. I never waited more than a few hours when I had worked with them previously. The tech arrived today at 12:15, as timestamped by my security cameras, and pulled the door in the truck closed at 12:57. Forty-three minutes by my count. I was charged 1.5 hours labor, $256. $200/hour! the last time I had springs replaced by Calder, the same exact job on my other garage door, the entire bill was $181. I will NEVER use this company again. They are definitely not the same company. - in name only. Caveat Emptor!!
