Diane bathed him and even trimmed the hair around his eyes, so he could see better. I highly recommend Woof Gang Bakery and Grooming. Next time I am in New Jersey, I know where to bring my Westie for grooming. Normally, I do not write reviews. The excellent service and compassionate approach to my Westie deserve an exception to this rule. I would give Woof Gang Bakery and Grooming 10 stars if that were possible. Their care of him (and us!) was nothing less than wonderful. Duffy died in 2010 and the owners shared our grief when we shared that information. Fast forward 10 years and we have be bringing our Murphy to Dan & Laura as they are our trusted caregivers. We no longer live in town near them, it's one hour from our home to the kennel but we would make no other choice for our best friends safety and health. People who complained about cost clearly don't read well or understand math, but there are no underhanded schemes to overcharge. We love the Nelson family and will always trust them with our pets.

I have tried two other locations and both of them returned me a sad dog. When I picked up my dog from Waggin tails, she was her usual spunky and happy self. The best part of this is Dan at Waggin Tails will not board your pet unless you take a full tour of his facility. When you do, you see why this kennel is the place to keep your dog or cat. Also, your pet must be up to date with their shots or they will not board your Dog or cat. That is a superior policy to have in place. They are upfront with all pricing and costs. Honesty is the best policy in my book. I recommended my family member to do the same with their dog and they had the same result. One very happy dog. My dog growing up had a mobile groomer so he could go quickly from the house to the van and back again within an hour. So, I decided this would be the best for my little girl. Wunderful Tails did a fantastic job on my little terrier mix. I almost didn't recognize her when she came back into the house (tail wagging all the way). Her fur was cut perfectly for her personality (I wanted her clean cut but wanted to keep that "terrier" look) and her nails were nicely cut and free from fray. During her last cut, her brother (a staffordshire terrier) was invited into the van to keep her company and was given a bandana of his own! Wunderful Tails is very caring, thoughtful and considerate of the owner's and dog's wishes and needs. They were bought by private equity a couple years back and since the prices have gone to the stratosphere. Last year's vaccination appointment was just shy of $600. Kiss my patootie, respectfully. The gag is Petco is ALSO owned by private equity but I imagine its large portfolio of stores makes cheap vaccines possible. For a neighborhood vet, it just ruins everything. ::throws phone:: I googled low cost clinics and found out that Petco does them. I needed an appointment soon so my son could go to daycare next week while I'm onsite at work. This was the only location where I could get in before next week. Been in NJ 35 years and never heard of this town. But, at $195 for ALL his shots and heartworm test without a mandatory exam (that's how the vet gets you), I embraced the hour long road trip. The setup: -Book the appointment online at the Petco website -Store is in a strip mall - vax clinic is on the left past the registers. -The providers get on the floor with your dog, talk sweetly to them, and work efficiently. Heartworm results come back in 10 minutes. Pros: -Easy booking, low stress, clear communication -Summary of services, Rx, and rabies vaccine emailed to you during the visit -You do not have to book a vet exam to be vaccinated Possible Cons: -This is a store with people and pets. If your pet is antsy you may want to book during the week rather than on a weekend to minimize distractions and anxiety. ---------- Great experience! Get the jab! We don't need billionaires! Since moving to this area and visiting this store...I've been disappointed each time! Especially when trying to schedule a grooming session for my dog. It got so bad, that I decided to drive 1.5 hours to my previous store and let them perform her grooming, because I lost confidence in this store and couldn't risk my dog being neglected during her grooming session. Definitely ZERO STARS for service from the top to the bottom of their staff. The place feels abandoned and appears the workers don't want to be there. I've taken my business for food purchases/supplies to the Pet Goods store across the street and for the grooming, I'm taking my dog to Shower Your Pet Spa.
