One month you may get an excellent massage and then the next month that therapist is no longer there and the new person will not listen to your information about your massage preferences and muscle issues and will just rack on you. I know therapists need a break room however being so close to rooms without good filters is bad. It constantly smells like old food. Sometimes the therapist will come out to greet you and she's still chewing her food. They know the schedule however they don't seem to be able to tell when a client was there last and who the therapist was or anything about the client. Looking for a new place.

Even when I'm traveling and get a massage somewhere else, it never compares to the quality and care I receive at Serenity. Rozzie and Jose are both incredible at what they do. They don't just give you a standard massage and send you on your way. They take the time to really understand your needs, ask what has been bothering you, and focus on the areas that need the most attention. You can tell they genuinely care about helping their clients feel better. Rozzie has been amazing at helping me with the tension and discomfort from my neck injuries. She knows exactly where to focus and somehow always works her magic. I leave feeling such a difference! Jose is phenomenal when it comes to deep tissue massage. He really knows how to work out the knots and get into those areas that need extra attention. My sister lives out of state, and every single time she comes to town, she makes sure to schedule an appointment with Jose because she says she cannot find anyone where she lives who even compares to his skills! After more than 8 years of coming here, I can confidently say Serenity Massage is in a league of its own. Rozzie and Jose are incredibly skilled, attentive, and genuinely care about what each client needs. If you're looking for more than just a relaxing massage and want someone who really listens to your body and addresses what's bothering you, I cannot recommend them enough!

I was brought in due to Groupon. The lady told me not to purchase the Groupon and to pay later. I…read morewas a bit apprehensive but agreed. To set the scene: imagine an open room with curtains separating the beds. Initially there's chairs for foot massages, then there are tables for the full body massages. There isn't much privacy. Because there aren't any walls, you can hear everything and the massage therapists had a lot to say to each other. The massage was very nice. They are very thorough. Not only did they knead every piece of my body, but they stretched me out as well. They even used the hot stones to work out kinks even further. I will say, the lack of walls did cause me a bit of unease, and 50 min into a 60 min massage my therapist changed from a woman to a man. They then offered 30 additional minutes which we took for the relaxation. I knew right then cost was going to get funky. The extra 30 minutes included a foot massage, which I hadn't experienced one as complex as that. When it was time to check out, 30 minutes for two came up to $80 additional dollars. When I tried to point out the Groupon cost the lady made it out like I was getting a deal. I was not. With tip, I spent double what I expected. Was it worth it, you ask. Meh. And yes, I know I should've gotten the price beforehand or stuck to the original 60 min plan. But it's Father's Day and I wanted to pamper my husband. Massage: 20 stars. Business model 1 star. Average: 3 stars
