If you're looking for a realtor that is knowledgeable and savvy without ever being pushy, who is…read moregenuinely kind without being fake, and someone who is a delight to be around but also is so organized and on top of things- Bobby West is that realtor! After a few months of working with Bobby, my husband & I have just closed on our first house in Pittsburgh (after relocating from out of state) and this experience has been infinitely easier with Bobby in our corner. He has great recommendations, I trust his opinions and he has a network of reliable contacts to share that have so far proven to be just as amazing as he is (financials, contractors, etc). The house that we ended up purchasing was one that we visited just before the open house was ending; this house that "might work" if we saw it in person ended up being exactly what we were looking for. The house was just listed and already had 3 offers on it, so my husband called Bobby at 5p on a Sunday to ask if it might be possible to submit our best offer before the 7p deadline that day. Bobby worked with our financial contact (who was also amazing, and who he recommended) to get the offer paperwork to us immediately and because of their fast teamwork, we were able to get the house that we really wanted on such short notice! It's also worth mentioning that we went to several open houses over the past few months, and all of the hosting realtors knew who Bobby was and they all had nothing but the best things to say about him. Bobby is a true asset to the community and everything he does is with the best of intentions. Also, since home buying is (often) an emotional and stressful internal experience, it helps to work with someone who has a calming and empathetic approach to their relations. This was something I immediately noticed when I met Bobby, and for such a large and costly decision taking place (this is true for anxious people especially), this reassuring demeanor really helps you to feel supported during the entire home buying process. These are just some of the reasons that I would recommend Bobby to anyone who is looking for a realtor. He is just the best!

We worked with Scott Boni out of the Bobby West team and it was a fantastic experience. We will…read moredefinitely be recommending Scott and Bobby to anyone else looking to buy a home. Scott guided us through he whole process was very patient with us and explained everything without over explaining. He helped us at every step of the way was always quick to reply and easy to contact and kept us informed. Scott also had great contacts through him he helped us pick a quality mortgage broker, home inspector and everything else we needed for the process. Scott was also extremely knowledgeable about the houses we toured and was able to point out things I never would have noticed or known to ask about. He was able to adapt as we figured out what kind of houses we were actually interested in and guide us to more like what we wanted. We toured a lot of houses and made two offers in our Journey and Scott was reassuring communicative and effective the entire way. Every weekend he would set us up to tour homes with an itinerary and a plan also including and getting us information on homes we found ourselves that we liked. Scott was a great Value as a realtor but more importantly to me he was just a very good person. I felt like i could trust him to actually have mine and my Wife's interests at heart. I never felt pressured by him and the man knew how to make us feel comfortable in the strange situation. He was easy to talk to without it ever feeling awkward or like an obligation even on our 10th or 12th house toured. He was fun to talk to while keeping us on track through all the tours and making good use of our time. He helped us weigh the pros and cons of the places we visited and helped us understand everything through his knowledge and experience. I'd highly recommend this group and Scott in particular if you are in the process of buying a house.

I moved in on September 1st, 2024. Just today, November 19, 2025, I received this text from Kari,…read more"I have found that there was never a security deposit billed to your account at move in. I have billed it now and we can set up a payment plan if need be. Let us know." Over a year later?! Now I have to search through my own paperwork to prove them wrong, OVER 14 MONTHS later?? It's a clear indication that they are extremely disorganized, at the very least. Messy. With nasty temperaments. I do not trust them, they are clearly no one's 'friend'. If you do rent from them, keep METICULOUS records. They WILL try to gouge you for every nickel they can steal from you. Kari is the person who responds with rude comments to all of Oak Grove's many, many negative reviews on Google. Maybe she should spend more time organizing her records, and less time being rude on Google? https://www.attorneygeneral.gov/submit-a-complaint/consumer-complaint/

I am the new property owner of the home that Jamee's son Owen rented. I didnt really have any…read moreintention of ever writing a review or otherwise having this ever aired in public but Jamee's review was brought to my attention so I figured I would say something. On the day of my closing of my house I was asked by the sellers realtor from Oak Grove if I would be keeping any of the security deposit of the two tenants. I expressed that I was giving it all back to which multiple times the sellers agent suggested I keep a large portion. I am not a landlord just someone buying his first home I did not want any drama. I told her this and she proceeded to make a comment along the lines of "You should keep at least half it teaches them a lesson they are young and need to be taught character or how the world works". That isnt an exact quote but it contains the essence of what she said. I was naturally fairly offput by this and I mentioned it to my tenants and ensured them I would be giving back their full deposit. I want to make sure anyone who reads this understands that what she was suggesting while not very appropriate in my opinion was in no way shape or form illegal. I read through the tenant contract and the amount of stipulations in it that would result in withholding deposits were a lot. If I chose to I could have legally kept every cent of the deposit based on the contract. I dont think some of those conditions are fair but nobody forced anyone to sign it. Now that its come to this point I will explain the two star review based on my experience. My home was set to close at the end of March it was an FHA loan. The appraiser determined that there were about 12 areas that had chipped paint that needed redone to pass FHA. The sellers agent asked for a 3 week extension in order to get it done then proceeded to wait around 2 weeks to even start the work. Sort of understandable due to rainy weather although majority was indoor painting. She proceeded to contact my bank and appraiser without even letting us know when the job wasnt completed wasting everyones time. Because of this it barely was ready for the new closing day. Outside of personality I would at least expect a realtor to be competent enough to check the work done before jumping the gun bypassing the buyer and wasting the banks time. Im a first time homebuyer so maybe this is standard for the industry but all of this left a bad taste in my mouth. I probably wouldnt even look at a house represented by them again not to mention using them as an agent.
