In the middle of sweltering summer heat, they worked tirelessly all day to remove the tree, clean up the area, and even stacked all the wood neatly when they were done. You don't see work ethic like that very often anymore. They were professional, reliable, and clearly take pride in what they do. I…read morecontracted with kidwell and sons pro tree service (jason kidwell) to cut down a tree, remove all branches and debris from the property and then grind the stump down to ground level a couple weeks after the other services were completed. I paid him his full qouted price after the tree was cut down and the branches/debris was removed and then he never came back to grind the stump. I called and left messages and then finally got ahold of him on the phone, he said he "forgot" that he still had the stump to grind and that he also had to take care of the numerous large ruts his truck and vehicles left in my yard and that he would get that done "the middle of next week" which would have been 15 July 2026, but, surprise, surprise, he never showed up or called to explain why he hadn't come when he said he would and now he will not return calls or take care of the work. Jason is completely unprofessional, a liar and I would NOT recommend hiring him no matter what price he quotes as he will not do the work he contracted to do. I'm currently in the process of filing for a court date in small claims court. Avoid this scumbag and his company unless you want to be scammed/ripped off.
