I had a GIANT 70 foot dying weeping willow, with very bad access to my back yard. The Lefke crew manage to take down the tree, protected my trees and bushed in my side yard and clean up. The whole operation is off. NATIONAL PROFESSIONAL SERVICE, LEFKE. The whole cooperation is shit. Management is awful. No communication, last minute decisions. Bosses and Formans finagle hours for the employees they like. Treat everyone else like shit. An ABSOLUTE SHIT SHOW OF A COMPANY. Taking money from employees when they WORKED THE HOURS! Shortening paycheck. Favoritism. Just straight shit show. They money is good when they actually pay out you what they owe you and don't shorten your paycheck. Definitely do not recommend at all. We had 3 big old trees to be cut down and one was close to our neighbor's house that worried me. In a couple of days after my phone call to Lefke Tree Experts they came to give us an estimate and 2 weeks later we had the trees cut down. I highly recommend Lefke Tree Experts, they are very professional and they're prices are very good compared with other tree company's offers. Chex and Jacob showed up from the company at 8 am (as promised) and finished the job exceptionally by end of the day. It was amazing how the two of them cut and cleaned everything. Lefkey Tree Experts did a great job removing a huge oak tree from our yard. We needed the tree removed to make room for a new house. Our yard is small and there are lots of other houses nearby. Everyone I had out to look at the tree told me it was going to be a problem to remove it but it wasn't a problem for the team from Lefkey! They got the tree removed safely and efficiently and at a very reasonable price compared to some of the other quotes I had received. All the employees are very friendly and professional. We have been very impressed with everyone at Lefke Tree! We called them on a Friday afternoon, March 10, after our usual tree service said they couldn't help us with a very large, tall live oak leaning precariously towards our barn. Graham came out on Monday, March 13 and assessed the tree. Since it had a 20 foot crack in its trunk and was hollow inside, he said he'd move us up the list due to the danger it posed. They arrived on March 23 to remove the tree and the crew was just phenomenal! They took it down with no problem and thoroughly cleaned up all the branches and debris, which was all picked up around 5 pm by a huge truck with a claw to lift it over the fence. I have called Lefke several times, as they came highly recommended by a co-worker. No one ever picks up the phone. You can leave a voicemail, but it won't be returned. I have filled out the contact me form twice now, and that goes unreturned as well. It's been over 2 weeks since my initial call and voicemail, I guess they're too busy to care about new business. read more

We used Lefke Tree Experts in the fall of 2019 to trim a maple tree in my daughter's front yard. They did a good job trimming the tree and I promptly paid them with a credit card. At that time they also gave us an estimate to take down and remove the multiple trunk maple tree in her back yard. My daughter really wanted to save the tree for a couple more years, so they said that was fine, even though it was in poor shape, Fast forward to March of 2020, flat line winds came through Loveland, OH and half of the multi-trunk maple tree came down, just missing damaging her home. She told me about it and I said no problem, I will call the nice folks at Lefke and they will take care of it in short order. Gracious was I wrong. I called their number, no one answered, so I left a nice message, explaining what happened and asking they call me at their convenience. I didn't hear anything from them after a few days, so I called them again and left a message asking them to return my call. Again, they made no attempt to contact us. This went on for five more weeks. I called them a minimum of twenty more times, many of those cases I did not leave a message, so as to not be a bother to them. I found a second phone number to call, but I got the same results, no answer, no returned messages, no response whats-so-ever. I also reached out to them on their website, which generated an automatic reply the next day, saying they would be in touch with me very soon. Still no response, this 'professional tree service' company could not be more unprofessional. There is no excuse for a business to not return phone calls over a six week period, when the consumer is politely requesting a contact. I don't have any idea why they snubbed our calls and attempts to contact them, but I do hope their employees find employment with a real tree service business. I would have given them zero stars if it were an option, these people do not deserve to be in business and I caution anyone wanting their trees trimmed or removed to not use these folks. read more

These guys are the best! Reasonable price, took care of haul away, very careful with sprinkler system! Lefke went above and beyond to address our needs and all workers very professional.
