After only 9 months and less than 5,000 km, the windshield fluid stopped working. Last week I went to an independent garage to change my winter tires for summer tires. I told the mechanic about the windshield fluid problem. He opened the hood and showed me that the hose on the driver's side was disconnected. In order to reconnect it, he needed to remove some parts of the motor, which would cost me money. So I called the garage at Nissan Sherbrooke, thinking they would reconnect the hose under warranty. They were not able to confirm the guarantee over the phone and said that I had to bring the car to their garage to have it assessed. They told me that I would have to pay for the diagnosis of the problem if they felt that it was not under warranty. How complicated is it to confirm that reconnecting a hose is under warranty? These guys are useless. Nissan products are the cheapest of the cheapest. I highly recommend shopping for another brand and staying clear of Nissan Sherbrooke.

I decided not to spend any more of my vacation at Kia, even though they have a nice waiting area with a TV, coffee machine, and titillating antifreeze advertisements. WORST SERVICE EVER!…read more I brought my 2020 vehicle to N.V. Cloutier to have the A/C system inspected. I was told that it was only missing 400 grams of refrigerant and that no leaks had been detected. The system's total capacity is 570 grams. The employee at the desk then told me there was likely a leak that they simply couldn't detect. I brought my vehicle there to have the problem diagnosed and fixed, not to pay just to be told the system was low. I already knew the A/C wasn't working, and you could hear the air moving through the system inside the cabin. When I asked how much it would cost to refill the system, I was quoted another $335 just for the refrigerant, without the dye or labour needed to find and fix the problem I had originally brought the vehicle in for. I left and took my vehicle to another garage, only to be told that my A/C system was completely empty. When I called N.V. Cloutier back, I was told they had recovered the refrigerant into their tanks and couldn't put it back into my vehicle; they could only refill the system. This was never explained to me beforehand. Had I known this, I would have expected to be informed of the consequences and costs before the work was done. I asked for fair compensation for the refrigerant they retained from my vehicle, which I estimate to be worth approximately $140. Instead, they offered me only $50. Meanwhile, they had quoted me $335 just for refrigerant to refill the system. I find this extremely frustrating and unfair, especially considering the lack of communication throughout the entire process. The whole experience left me feeling disrespected and taken advantage of. I can't help but wonder whether I would have been treated differently if I weren't a woman. Fortunately, I have some mechanical knowledge and knew enough to question what I was being told. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP, especially to women who may feel dismissed or taken advantage of when dealing with automotive issues. I went there expecting professional service, transparency, and an honest effort to diagnose my A/C problem. Unfortunately, that is not what I received. I would not return.
