This has happened to me on multiple occasions. It's deeply frustrating for people who work insane hours to take the time to drive over (with plenty of time to spare), only to be told in a very brusque manner that they aren't accepting any more cars. It should be noted that other locations don't seem to have this problem- it seems to be a quirk of workplace culture specific to this particular location.

The specialty here is full size pickup trucks but that is probably because there are so many of them in this area. I have a Volvo and BMW and they can do most of the work on those. My truck was overheating three and a half hours from home, and over an hour from where I needed to be. I limped into the service station at 4:40 on a Friday evening (20 min before closing for the weekend). Without any delay, the team got to work on my truck. They used connections to get parts very quickly and started immediately. Within an hour we were back on the road and made it, safely, to our destination for Winter Trek. My car is an Alfa Romeo and I'm super cautious of trusting unknown shops to work on it. From the first phone call with the manager Jason, through scheduling and ultimately buying and having Gills Point S Tire install new Falken tires on my Alfa Romeo, the experience was flawless and exceptional. They were above and beyond friendly, polite, professional, and easy to work with. My appointment started exactly when it was supposed to, and I was in and out in 30 minutes on a Monday afternoon. I was shocked how fast the service was and haven driven 30 miles home already, it's obvious the tires were installed correctly. I have been going to another local regional chain and I've always been stuck there 2-3 hours and felt like the staff were annoyed to be so busy. I almost hate to leave this review because I don't want Gills Point S to be slammed and a long wait next time I go there lol.
