It opened in 2008; it has a nursery, a huge home store (decor, candles, llighting, food, gifts, garden gear, indoor plants), a fafe, a greenhouse... Whether you're a gardener or not, Terrain is fun to explore. We visited two weeks ago, and I have to say that it's particularly beautiful in winter - all those Christmas trees in snow and a fire pit and seasonal decor... By a quick observation of the place, they have their own slew of dedicated local regulars who are likely experts on their stock. Alas, here are the observations from my visit: 1. Incredibly sweet staff. One of the ladies behind the register even told my mom that there was food on the deck that day and to help herself. 2. Rustic and country are the key words at this place. I'm not the biggest country decor fan, but my mom is, and she loves this shop. It seems she never walks out empty-handed. 3. Lots of little rooms to explore. The owner is super nice. Once I bought orange Civia plant and few months into it wasn't doing well. I brought it back to show and ask for advice on what is wrong & what to do. They took the plant, treated it and kept for a while in the greenhouse till it became vibrant again and called me to pick it up. I appreciate that kind of customer service. That's why I continue to support this nursery and always happy to stop by and pick a new plant.

The car show gets a few hundred cars. If you want to enter your car it's $20 cash at the gate. They give you a small tin plaque and a registration card for your window. Since my car isn't winning any awards I don't stay till 3 pm to await the judges choices. My car is nice, but not prize winning nice but that's ok. It's a fun few hours. It got too hot by noon to stay longer. Weather in early May is tricky. Highly recommend checking out the car show. The general store on the grounds is huge. Bought lots of stuff to take home.

We've ordered before with no issue but this time was a terrible experience and now I don't think I want to go back to Linvilla ever again without thinking about this. Ordered like normal and was waiting for our food. They said they would call out the order number. Two people came after us and somehow grabbed their food before us. I was confused because we were waiting about 15 mins so far which is fine but I didn't hear any order numbers being called. I asked where our food was and she looked confused like I should've gotten it already. Turns out they were only calling out the food item and not the order number so the people who came after us basically took our food. That's fine. No big deal - they just started making our food again. My food comes out first and one of the chicken pieces falls on the dirty counter. I watch the cook pick up the chicken with his bare hands and put it back on my food. That's when I start getting frustrated but okay whatever I just take it off and throw it out. My husbands chicken comes out shortly after and it was pretty fast. We go to find a table to sit and he takes a bite. The middle of the chicken is completely RAW. I went back and got a refund but I can't even believe that happened. I can't even think about Linvilla without getting nauseous now. This is ridiculous especially with no one in line waiting like the other places. I can understand why. Save yourself the salmonella and just go somewhere else.
