Beautiful property with a great location in downtown Vancouver. Check in was smooth and quick We got a beautiful king sized bed room on the 21st floor with gorgeous views. Bed is comfortable, room was clean. Temperature is cool and easily controlled. Lobby is spacious and well lit. There's a couple of restaurants inside the hotel, although we didn't try any. There's a lot of parking underground.

This was a fairly good and comfortable hotel in the heart of Vancouver. It's clean and well kept, and the king one bedroom suite was comfortable. The bathroom was a bit primitive, and it was very hard to control the temperature of the water in the shower. The bathroom was also quite small. The towels were extremely thin and flimsy. The small living room had a couch, but the television did not seem to have any steaming connectivity options such as Netflix. Complimentary bottled water is provided daily, and housekeeping was very efficient. Overall the staff were friendly and helpful. The club lounge was open daily and offered a decent breakfast daily with hot options that rotated daily. Soft drinks and snacks are available throughout the day, and appetizers are available in the evening with both hot and cold choices. There is no complimentary happy hour nor complimentary alcohol of any sort as one finds in other international club lounges. The hotel is well located with easy walks to a variety of dining and shopping choices. Overall an adequate hotel with nothing terribly good or bad about it.

We chose this property because it's close to basically everything. Robson District, Granville District, and Rogers Arena. It's a large property with two towers. There's a ton of convention space in the north tower which is where we are. We were installed on the 19th floor in a corner king suite. It's two walls of glass over looking the city. It's actually pretty cool. The service here is what you would expect. We chose valet parking to save the hassle of finding a place to park. Tonight we go see the Canucks!

A few friends came here for work and invited me to come stay with them. Because I was late add, my name wasn't on the reservation as someone else in the group cancelled. We had inquired about late check out, noon, but was not told the keycard would reset at 11:15am, at which time you need to get a "new" keycard to enter. This means even if I had gone downstairs to grab something or put something in the car, I would still need a new keycard. I tried to get into the room after 11:15am and was not able to. I then let the front desk know about the non-working keycard, and one of the staff insisted my keycard would work and I should try again. I tried the keycard again, of course it did not work and recorded a video to show front desk. The same front desk staff insisted I must not know how to use a keycard since his computer shows it works. At that point I didn't want argue anymore, so I asked the front desk staff, who claimed to be a manager manager, to send someone upstairs with me to just prove the key did not work - he refused and insinuating I had lied to him. I asked is it possible for someone to take my luggage out that was sitting by the door - which was a no. The only option was for my name to be added to the reservation. I asked for a phone number to call, the front desk manager then berated me that all I have to do is add my name to the reservation. I said, I know, this is why I am asking for a phone number. He then went on and on how he cannot open the door for me. By then, I had asked for the phone number three times, the manager claimed the customer "should have the phone number ready to call." I finally said, did I just agree with you and this is why I have asked the phone number three times? He then said I was rude, I said no, I have asked three times and how many times would I need to ask? It was very obvious the front desk manager did not hear anything I have said to him, which was agreeing with him and asking for a phone number to call, he just wanted to belittle someone. I finally got a phone number, which turned out to be wrong, and was texting to my friend to add my name when he asked me to "move aside so I can help another customer." I said I only need 30 seconds to text can you hold on? During this whole time another person behind me had heard the whole conversation. When the front desk manager asked me to move again, I asked the person behind me if she minded I take 30 seconds to send a text - she did not mind as long as she is being serviced. The manager then glared at me and move to one of the other THREE empty computers next to him. I was on a work call when the manager came over twice to flag me down even though I had told him I would not be available for the next hour until my friend adds me to the reservation. He then came over after my call and says, he didn't understand why I was so rude. Again, he heard nothing I had told him which was I had agreed with him and asked for a phone number, which he apparently couldn't produce. By then I just had it since I had spent 15 minutes listen to him berate me, so I said, "didn't I agree with you that is why I asked for a phone number? Why do you keep explain and argue with me?" The front desk manager said it is a misunderstanding, he did not realized I had asked for phone number to call. Excuse me, I asked about 5 times because he provided a wrong one! I spoke to another staff later and found out the keycard would reset at 11:15am, which the front desk manager did not know either. I am surprised with the treatment from a Marriott hotel but this explains why I prefer a Hilton. I would recommend the manager gets some training on how to respond to situations and details within his own hotels before working with customers again. By the way, we found out the hotel has different rates depending on the time of the day we called. We were ready to take our business elsewhere when the front desk agreed to match a lower room for the same room less than 12 hours later! I am giving it two stars because some of the staff were so nice including the cleaning crew.

One of my favorite hotels when we're visiting Vancouver BC. Great location. Friendly staff. Clean well maintained rooms. What's not to like? Service is always fast, friendly and efficient!

What an amazing location just a short 15 min walk from the Yaletown Riundhouse station. With plenty of places to eat, get your daily cup of local coffee, shop and enjoy Yaletown as well as a few stops from the city center and waterfront. If you prefer Starbucks you're in luck it is located in the south towers. With access to a gym and indoor pool/Jacuzzi you really have everything at your finger tips. If walking isn't for you the bike rentals are on the street across the way. Arriving for the final eras tour concert it was awesome they had multiple photo shoot opportunities inside and outside. They were thoughtful in leaving body/face rhinestones for us to wear during the concert. The restaurant was on the expensive side but I loved the themed drinks even had fun mocktails. We had a wonderful time and I look forward to come back and enjoy more of the city soon.

Good location and amenities. Terrible hospitality! Wouldn't give me a late checkout even though I'm Marriott Gold Elite and couldn't give me a direct answer of why. Management is pretty good at putting out fires that their staff made the previous night. It's like this hotel is being run by 18 year olds who lack common sense and any type of confidence to make basic decisions. They seem to book a lot of conferences so they don't really care about that average traveler. Quantity over quality. Will not stay again!

Stayed here for eight nights at the end of October. The location is perfect. Took the SkyTrain from YVR and walked about 4 blocks to the hotel. Room was in the South Tower, which has a Starbucks in the lobby. Perfect way to start the day, though there is a coffee maker in the room if you prefer. There were several conferences on property during my visit, however never had to wait long for an elevator. Room was steps from the elevator, never heard any noise from it. The only recommendation to the hotel is look at increasing water pressure in the shower, it was very weak.

Short, pleasant stay. Was in town and needed a hotel centrally located and chose this Sheraton. Check-in was smooth and clerk was friendly. Our room was in the south tower and a corner room. We had great views of the city. Room even had a balcony (but not recommended for anyone scared of heights). Room was clean and quiet. I appreciated that all the bathroom amenities were refillable dispensers. Bottled water, refrigerator and coffee maker in the room. (There's also a Starbucks in the lobby.) Would stay again.

I can't decide if I should given Sheraton a 5 stars or not. Here are some pros and cons: First the Pros: - This is hands-down the best gym I have ever been to at a hotel. There were two different rooms just for weight training which was quite insane that they even had weight training material at all. Oh and free bottled water that was very high quality! - Our hotel had one of the best views in Vancouver. Our views were of the sweeping coastlines from the northern mountains all the way to the southern UBC side. It was beautiful especially on a clear day. Cons-ish: - Sheraton is separated into a North and South Tower and if you live in the South Tower (which I did) they don't actually have parking just for you. You park in the North Tower parking area so every time you go back to the hotel you have to walk through the North Tower concourse or outside. It's a bit of a hassle but no too bad at the end of the day. - Sometimes the lounge food is amazing like the fresh-baked cookies and the Asian food like the Thai curry. Other times, fruit is the only edible thing such as when they had South American night where the empanadas were incredibly dry. Honestly I really appreciate they have a lounge and fruits and really good juice, but I think the actual hot foods can definitely improve. All the waiters were incredibly nice and attentive though and immediately cleared out all the plates. If I could give a 4.5 star that's what Sheraton would get. Almost at 5 but not quite.

A lovely Sheraton situated in downtown Vancouver close to shopping, dinning and other leisure activities - BUT.... Be prepared for an exterior that is throw back to the 1980's - evoking a feeling of padded shoulders, slicked back hair and cell phones as big as bricks. Seriously though - a property that has been upgraded over the years, but beginning to feel a bit dated. Lobby is split between the two towers, so you can check in on either side. Solid onsite dining, with a good little bar. Layout to get to the gym is funky, as you actually have to walk outside to access the gym. If you are tall - well prepare to duck - low ceilings throughout. Two story members lounge in the West Tower - moderately priced drinks and the happy hour and breakfast offerings are legit - we stayed two nights - only ate out once - basically had dinner at the happy hour - score. Hotel is dog friendly - so bring your four-legged pet. Parking lot is a bit of a tight mess - but hey - it wasn't built for today's crop of huge SUV's. Enjoy.

A one-bedroom signature suite at L'Hermitage was significantly less than a regular room at the Pan Pacific and the Rosewood so I booked 3 nights ($625CAD/night). I got off the Silver Moon at 9:45am, handed my luggage off to a representative from Luggage Forward, and walked from the cruise terminal up to the hotel. My room wasn't ready, so I dropped off my carry-on and backpack and went shopping and to have lunch. I was still on my way to CF Pacific Centre when the front desk called, informing me my room was ready. I told them I'd return after lunch. Wow, I loved my room (707)! As you entered through a short hallway, you found yourself looking at a full kitchen to your right, bathroom to your left and then the bedroom, past a closet housing a stack washer/dryer. The living room was bright and airy because there were walls of glass. Past the kitchen was a den with a desk and sofa. Off the living room was a small lanai overlooking the pool. The kitchen featured a gas range, full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. It was like a timeshare unit, not a hotel room, as there was tableware, glassware, etc. The only nitpick was the bathroom; it didn't quite measure up to the rest of the unit. It was small, with a full-sized glass-enclosed tub, a Toto (but without the washlet) toilet, and a small vanity and shelf unit opposite the vanity. It was totally functional, but I wished the tub had a shower wand, not just the rain head. If I could, I'd want this room moved to Hawaii to become my residence. The front desk staff were personable and friendly. The exercise facilities were fine. The L'Orangerie restaurant is located on the 5th floor ... more on that in a separate review.
