I visited a couple of different daycares, explained my situation, asked a million questions and ultimately ended up deciding on CC's. My daughter adjusted to the change right away. The teachers were all nice, fun, and patient with her. My daughter doesn't respond well to grouchy teachers or to yelling, she tends to rebel more. Their approach for correcting her behavior worked because they paid attention to the little things that motivated her and their approach was not aggressive but rather compassionate. Michelle is resourceful and willing to help with information and resources, and she is very involved in the day to day. The communication and their way of handling every situation and behavior made all the difference. I knew my daughter was in good hands and because of that I had the peace of mind that I needed to be able to concentrate on work without the added stress that I was experiencing before. CC's was the best decision I ever made. She is now attending public school but I will definitely be taking her back for the summer.

They have clear communication on everything that's going on with the center (events, day to day activities, health checks, center closures) and you're given notice well in advance. Payment, check in/out, and communication are all done through Brightwheel (an app) and it's such a smooth process. Even though it's a bit modern, my in-laws (that are a bit older and have a harder time with technology) are still able use the app to pick up my daughter and enjoy the occasional pictures and videos that are sent through there. My daughter doesn't really take to strangers well. She did have an adjustment period but has soon blossomed in the infant classroom and loves her teachers. The teachers are caring and informative and we are so pleased with the kind of care they provide our daughter. And we know she's not the easiest baby. They have been able to help our child make huge progress with nap time and even with playing with other kids. I truly feel her personality has blossomed due to the work the infant room teachers put into our daughter. She always comes home happy from the day. The infant room itself (as well as the other rooms we toured in the facility) are also clean and does not have a smell. We toured other facilities where the smell was so strong it stayed with me the rest of the day and was actually one of the deciding factors in choosing CCs. My daughter also has an egg and milk allergy. They assigned high chair specifically for her and are always on the look out for any reactions from food. She recently outgrew her milk allergy but not the egg. During the recent mother's day Muffins with Mom's event, they provided a special vegan muffin for her so she can enjoy the event with me. The teacher running the event wasn't my daughter's regular teacher, but she recognized my daughter anyway and knew to offer me the vegan muffin. I was so touched by this gesture. We haven't had experience with the older classrooms, but have toured them and are rest assured my daughter will grow up well cared for and well educated here at CCs. We are excited for her to learn and grow here. We are so pleased with our experience that we've already reserved our spot for our next baby due in a few months. Naturally, there was some stress and nervousness surrounding how he would adapt to transferring to Little Scholars from his previous school, but the staff was extremely reassuring from the first tour to his first day being enrolled. The staff and teachers here consistently exceeded expectations. One of the biggest highlights was their support with developmental milestones. The team was truly instrumental in getting our child fully potty trained. They were patient, consistent, and communicated closely with us to ensure the transition was smooth and positive. Additionally, the tuition was extremely reasonable with a ton of value that was not initially taken into consideration before enrollment. Meals being provided by the school saved time by reducing the need to prep his meals and was also great for introducing our son to new foods. The Brightwheel app was easy to use and the staff were consistent with communication throughout the day. The summer program was also a hit with our son. He always came home excited to share his experiences with the events organized by the staff. I am so grateful for the care Little Scholars provided for my son. We had a rough first experience with another care center when we first moved here, so we. moved her to Little Scholars after a few months at the other center. This child care center has been almost a family to us in the last 3 years when my daughter went there - every single teacher she's had, she has fond memories of (especially Ms. Toni, Ms. Sara, Ms. Rosa!). All the directors are amazing - and my daughter looks forward to going to "school" every single day! They have an amazing summer program in which they coordinate water slides, reptile visits, and other excursions. They organize egg hunts, make Mothers Day/Fathers Day crafts, have a fun Christmas performance, create memorable send-off promotion ceremony - I truly cannot believe all these teachers do to make the year so memorable. The facility is clean, bright and airy - they have a great indoor "play area" when it's cold/rainy outside. The curriculum for Pre-K is pretty spot on - my daughter was ready to enter Kinder and was definitely ahead of the pack when joining. I also really love the every day photos and Brightwheel updates they make on what she's eating, videos, photos, fun daily moments. I simply cannot say enough good things about this center! She saw Love & Care Montessori and asked me to check it out for her along with several other locations because she didn't have the time due to her schedule. I called and made an appointment with the owner, Yael, whom was very nice and gave me a tour of everything. So for those of you out there here is my review: 1) First thoughts: When I walked in, all I can say is that my inner child came to life! I mean I looked around and there is litterally every toy immaginable. From small cars to dinosaurs to even puzzles and games, this place had everything. I kind of wish I had a place like this for my childhood years. Yael went on to explain that she teaches on montessori methods as she gave me a tour of the house. 2) Layout: What I thought was most impressive was how every room was organized and how each room served it's own purpose. Even more astounding, the play areas in both the back and front yards were extensive, with slides and play houses and little cars to ride around, I thought to myself, if I had a kid I would want him/her to come here. They even had an enclosed trampoline in the back yard so that the kids could jump around and have fun while protected by the netting; how cool! Inside there are three seperate rooms. There's the play room when you first walk in, followed by the infant room, and finally the lunch room. 3) Schedule: Yael went over the daily routines of all the children from snack and lunch times to nap times and daily activities, arts and crafts and play times. All in all, everything seemed very organized and planned out in comparison to some of the other daycares I checked out. 4) Pricing: I compared the prices of the other daycares I visited and this one. For the weekly price, Love & Care Montessori had more to offer than similar daycares in the area for around the same weekly rate, give or take $10. 5) Atmosphere: What I really enjoyed was the homelike feel that this daycare had. It felt warm and inviting from start to finish. I think mostly in part by Yael. My first thoughts on her is that she had a lot of energy and a fun loving personality. Compared to the other dayares that I visited only one other one had a similar feeling when you walk right in. I felt that if I had a child I would be comfortable leaving him/her at this daycare for prolonged periods of time. Final thoughts: There are many daycares out there. Out of all the daycares I have visited, I thoroughly enjoyed all the things Love & Care Montessori and owner Yael had to offer. Every child attends any daycare would get sick until their immune system gets better. I have many nieces and nephews living all over the States and it's a rite of passage. What I like the most is that they follow safe sleep practice strictly so I felt very safe for my child to attend the school. My child, as a toddler, also learned colors and many other fun things. Lulu is amazing, my son adores her and he loves being there. Now that she's in the school age program, Ms. Ariyanna, Ms. Koby, Ms. Cristina, and Ms. Sherry, always make sure that she's doing good and is ok. (Sometimes some days are a bit rough) She loves going to little brother's school. Our son started going there when he was only 11 months old, he started with Ms Amanda in the infant room, mind you he wasn't walking but the week before he turned one he was up and going she helped him become more self efficient and gave him the confidence to be himself. When it was time to move up to the toddler room we were a little nervous of how he would do and if he was ready, I just think we weren't ready to watch him grow up so fast, we had nothing to fear because Ms. Lorena and Ms. Laura put our minds at ease. All the pictures and updates we received are amazing and for that we are grateful. Then he turned 2 and it was time to move up, our son is hard of hearing so he started to wear hearing aides and that was a whole different fear for us we were worried about kids trying to take them off or himself pulling on them but Ms Mitzi and Ms Alexis made sure to help him and they take them off for him safely during nap or when he says "All done" Ms Alexis even started to teach him some sign language, we are truly appreciate it. Every morning at drop off the staff greets him with a smile and we couldn't be more grateful that every one, even teachers that aren't his have been amazing through this journey with us. A shout out to Ms Iris and Ms Geli for being very supportive, through out the whole process with our sons care. Oh and our daughters too. Going back to work and leaving my babies with people I didn't know was one of the hardest things for me as a mom. A friend recommended this center, which gave me some comfort, and I'm so thankful we made the decision to come here. The app has also been such a great way to stay connected throughout the day. We get pictures and updates on naps, meals, diaper changes, and activities, which has given me so much peace of mind, especially when they were little. They are also very good about keeping parents informed throughout the day. The transitions haven't always been easy. We've had plenty of good drop-offs, but we've also had those random mornings where one of my girls just isn't having it and is crying hard when I leave. Those moments are difficult as a mom, but I always know there is a teacher there who will comfort them, hold them, and help them calm down. What means so much is getting a picture just minutes later showing them happy, eating their breakfast or snack, and back to their normal selves.
