Thankfully I came across Cortona, it was like love at first site. Im not just talking just the apartment but the staff was just phenomenal all around. Each and everyone worker was super helpful, understanding, and went above and beyond every time. Maintainer is like magic, they are so damn fast! The apartment is insanely great. The pool is to die for and great for hosting friends & bbq. The neighbors were super kind, generous, and fun. Cortona has events every couple month to get the community together, like, cocktail hour, game night, holiday parties & even events for your doggo. I have a 110 pound shepherd & they welcomed him like their own. The place has a grooming area for the doggo that allows you the wash your dog and blow dry them, not to include the huge dog park. If I did not purchase a home I would have lived here until I did, I absolutely love this place and will miss it dearly. Thank you Cortona for this amazing experience!

But one thing that stands out is the responsiveness and kindness of the staff--especially Maddie, the leasing manager. When things go wrong, she's quick to help and always handles situations with grace, even when they're out of her control. For the cost and amenities, this place is absolutely worth it. The team does a great job keeping things consistently good--and often great. P.S. If you're ever taking a tour, Maddie is your girl. If nothing else, you'll leave with a smile.

I have seen some reviews that seemed iffy but honestly I think the apartment manager is great! She is super responsive and if there are any issues they are fixed immediately or within a few days! The staff here are great and for the most part the other tenets are too (only one or two are "shady" complainers)... it is super dog friendly and everyone's puppies get along... the apts are pretty sound proof from my end... I don't really hear anything... It is an old building so we have ac units vice central air but it works out fine and you can always request for more if needed... so far my wife and I love it here!!! And we have friends that want to eventually move here too! The area is great! You are walking distance to the park, zoo, science center and countless museums. There are plenty of restaurants with every type of food you could possibly want!

It is only my first apartment experience but i would say it's been pretty good. although a really big problem i've had is with roaches and tonight really just set it off for me as i found a roach next to me while im trying to sleep. i'm a pretty clean person i never leave things dirty or gross somewhat of a clean freak actually but the amount of roaches i have seen in my 7ish months of being here is ridiculous. they do bug sprays but obviously not enough as i see at least like 5 roaches a month, and im rarely home. if bugs don't bother you this place would be pretty perfect but for everyone else just be prepared to have some little gross friends meandering around the place. like i said before this place is pretty good otherwise but something needs to be done about the roaches because i'm sick and tired of coming home from work while a roach waits for me at home while im trying to finally relax

Midtown 300's towing company 9th Street Towing had my vehicle on its truck within 3 minutes after I arrived. I tried to stop the driver, but he demanded that I pay 175.00 cash to drop my vehicle. I begged with him, but he wasn't having it. It cost a total of $400.00 to get my car back. No one from Midtown 300 management called to help me. So, they must have a hand in this "Scheme" as well. Beware of Midtown 300. Apparently, it's all about getting money here.

Maintenance requests (I've only had to make one and it was for a kitchen faucet) are addressed promptly! I work remote so I am basically here 24/7 and I've never had a single issue. I am sad to be moving out of state, otherwise we would be staying here for years to come. Great property close to so many great things, including Forest Park, WashU, Central West End, and the Grove. Very walkable! I highly recommend Aventura if you are looking for a place in the city. Our dog also LOVES the park we go there probably 2x a day. There is no way he could jump over the fence (see review below). The park is safe and we have met a lot of the neighbors there with their pups! An older review (6 years old) said something about the trash being located in an inconvenient spot. They offer valet trash now and have since I've lived here! It's very convenient! Did I mention they also have a pool and gym!?

For the record, the…read morecity does not regulate dog parks located in apartment communities so the safety of you and your pet is left to you. Despite having access to the city's minimum safety guidelines, Aventura chose to open a dog park that is well below those standards and with other potential hazards. The fencing is 48"-50" in height (60" min recommended). There is a single gate (double entry recommended) with only a lightweight fork latch to secure it. There is a second unlocked gate leading to the Newstead bridge and a sharp drop off onto the exit below. There are two benches positioned along the fence that significantly reduce the effectiveness of the fence. With the assistance of these poorly placed benches, a dog would only need to jump 15" to clear the fence. At the beginning of May, I emailed the Regional Manager at MLP Management about basic rules related to the dog park and was told that there simply aren't any. Her same email included that alcohol consumption is allowed and that guests of residents can also use the dog park. Vaccination records for pets are required prior to moving in so allowing random dogs to share the same park seems unwise if you truly care about the safety of your residents and their pets. So, if having an easy access dog park is important to you, research the housing in the surrounding area. There are bigger spaces for less money that include small fenced areas. You can then use the savings to join the Forest Park Dog Park which is a much safer play space for you and your pet.

Fees, fees, fees. Lots of other great places if you don't need a gym and pool. Honestly younger people, save your money.
