A quick Google search directed us to Furry Faces Cat & Dog Grooming and with a Tuesday afternoon phone call to Jennifer we requested an appointment sometime that week. We were pleasantly surprised when she said we could bring our dog (Brandi) in at 9:00 Wednesday morning. We dropped our Brandi off the following morning and true to her word, Jennifer had her bathed, fully groomed and ready for pickup by noon. She did a great job with the haircut, trimming her face close (as requested), plucking her ear hair and cutting her nails. We are indeed grateful to Jennifer for getting Brandi in so quickly. Just had a very bad experience, much like another Yelp review another had on March of 2019. I find…read moreit appalling that I'm not the only one who has had to call the police to get my dog back. Jennifer had asked us to bring our dog this morning at 9:00AM, and at 9:10 still no one was there, so we called the number. Jennifer answered and it sounded like we woke her up; she said she'd be there in 5 minutes and she was. Jennifer commented that ours was the first one in, and would be the first one out of the kennel to be worked on. We asked when we should come back to pick up our dog, and she said between 2:00 and 3:00pm. When we asked why so late when ours would be the first one, she would only say, "If I get her done sooner, I'll call you". Very odd, but we said, "OK" and left. We were in the area at around noon, and hoping we could pick up our dog on our way home, we stopped by to check on things. Jennifer was agitated that we were there early, and that she had told us our dog would be ready between 2:00 & 3:00 and that she had not even started on our dog yet. We were starting to get concerned. We decided to come back at 2:30 and pick up our dog whether she had trimmer her or not. We got there at 2:35 and went in. When Jennifer saw us, she was clearly angry and told us that she had just started on our dog. I reminded her that she had told us that ours would be the first one worked on, and asked why she was only now getting started. She told me that she had been working on 13 other dogs before ours. I said, "Then ours wasn't the first one like you had told us." and Jennifer rudely cut me off and started screaming at us, being extremely rude and vulgar, cussing at us, telling us to shut the F * * * up and get the F * * * out of her store. I had enough at that point, and demanded she give us our dog NOW ... I didn't want her to finish the job. She refused, muttered some nonsense that it was illegal for her to return the dog, and told me to get the F * * * out. I again demanded she return our dog to me, and she still refused. I had to call 911 to have the police come out and help us get our dog back. Meanwhile I was very concerned that Jennifer was in there alone with our dog, and fearful that she was going to start doing a hack job (but she didn't, she actually did a good job on the hair cut). When the police arrived, after explaining what was going on, I reentered the store with the two officers and I again demanded that she give me our dog back now. Jennifer said she had finished the job, but she continued to be rude and vulgar, swearing at us, to the point one of the officers threatened jail. We paid, got our dog, and then had to demand that we be given a receipt. We will NEVER go back there again, EVER, and will advise everyone to stay away from Furry Faces and Jennifer! ---- Addendum --- Now Jennifer is showing even more of her true colors! She is now accusing me of having threatened her life with a gun and is saying the police had to remove my wife and I from her property. Nothing of the sort ever happened. I called the police, and they made certain we got our dog back, and we then left on our own accord. No threats were made. And now I'm contacting my attorney about her defamation! ---- Addendum --- And my dog also got flees from Furry Faces!
