Libby is so friendly and welcoming and the entire family was born to entertain! This is in the perfect location downtown Berlin and I'm glad we got to go. They also offer ghost tours, which is what we originally had wanted to do a few weeks ago, but it was rained out. I know we'll be back again to do it. Great little novelty shop and fantastic magic show. The seating is first come, first serve. There was a gentleman celebrating his 90 somethingth birthday and his family in attendance, plus another magician named Steve, and a few other families. The fact that other magicians come to watch speaks volumes! They are big on audience involvement, so my son was excited when he got to go on stage, He is a little shy, but I think he enjoyed being up there. No photography during the show, but we did get a little card signed by Mr. Madrikhan himself! My favorite trick was "The Moth". I still don't know how they did it.....And the Ancient Egyptian trick that ended the show- wow! We were blown away. We left with a starter magic kit, a dinosaur, a magnet, and great memories.

He told us a bit of history about the store and proudly let us know that the item I was purchasing (magnet) was made in the USA. There is A LOT of stuff in here. Some of it basic, touristy type stuff but there were so many cool figurines and lots of old (looking?) memorabilia. I found so many things in there that I would love to have. You will hopefully see her for what she is...Shelly is a very horrible business owner, she is unorganized and a completely dishonest person. She has no business running a venue of this size. Multiple things went wrong with our wedding. But most importantly She ran out of liquor(of all kinds), All wine gone before dinner even started. She served warm beer the entire night. She ran out of spirits and juices. She literally had no cups at 9:30pm for water so they took away the water container!!! When she was called multiple times during the night she refused to pick up the phone. Bartenders refused to call her for us. They all knew this was a huge issue and they didn't care at all!! It really should be a crime to collect money before events and they have no repercussions when they can't give you what was promised. I could go on and on the multiple things that went wrong with our wedding. All I can say is book this venue at your own RISK and good LUCK if you do bc you're going to need it. Also make sure to get a SOLID contract that she can't wiggle her way out of. She will of course say you'll get it at a later date. DO NOT IGNORE THE RED FLAGS because the space is so beautiful.
