Absolutely best gas station I've ever been to. When people picture a gas station, they think…read more"messy, unkempt, a place you shop at when you're desperate or in a rush". Not this gas station. First, the young lady at the counter was skillfully taking care of three customers at a time. She was very meticulous in her precision of making sales and giving change. I only stopped to ask for a bathroom, but I ended up stocking up on road trip supplies just because the place was so neat, clean, and service was incredible. When I asked about a bathroom, I expected the answer I normally get, "we don't have one" (which is always a lie) or "it's for employees only". I was ready to argue that if I couldn't use a bathroom now, I'd just do my business on the side of the building. The clerk was so polite and explained it was outside. This is where I think "an outside bathroom? No key needed? This is the imperfection of this nice little store". SO WRONG! The bathroom was the nicest bathroom I've ever been in, not just by gas station standards, but by hote standards. The bathroom was the cleanest one I've ever used. The toilet was sparkling clean, no pee on the bowl, the sink and toilet looked like they just installed it. No graffiti or writing, the sink was dry, no soap strewn about carelessly, and toilet paper was actually in the toilet paper holder (and it was full!). The most incredible part, there a nice heat blower right at toilet seat level, so the toilet seat was so warm and I was getting just the right amount of fan power blowing all over me. Then I got to wash my hands, and there's soap IN THE SOAP dispenser. I turn on the cold tap out of reflex and I was pleasantly surprised that the water was the perfect temperature; not scolding hot, not freezing finger cold. Since I travel upstate a lot, I will exclusively use this gas station for all my travel needs.

See if this make sense. Whacky way to get new business/customers. It is a state law for gas…read morestations to used oil. I have been at the DK Garage before for inspections and minor work before. I happened to worked myself on two motorcycles I have, and had to dispose of the oil. So I went to DK to dispose of it. I went in and politely asked if they take the oil, but knowing they are supposed to, but wanting to be cordial. The front woman told me abruptly, "dump it where you got the work done." Taken off guard, I said I did the work myself. So, she hassles me about not being a paying customer. I said I have had work done there before, and inspections, not that I needed to say this. She chastised me that it wasn't real work. She then went back and asked, I guess the owner, if they should take it. She came back disappointed saying it was state law that they did. She went on to tell me she has been there for six years and never saw me before. What? Huh? Okay, so times are tough, and I am sure local garages are having a hard time with car dealerships which force car owners to go in for dealership service in order to have the car warranties honored. So, I can see why the local business is looking for big ticket work. From a "Hey, we want more customers, so we should make every effort to encourage business every chance we get perspective;" it makes no sense to chastise a prospective customer. How would you expect someone to be a repeat customer if you burn them the second they walk in the door for simple request? If the latter is the way the front person treats customers, the only customers you will get are those who are towed there out of necessity, or broke down right in front of the place. Mind you, the mechanics/owner may do great work, but I am not going back to find out with the crazy hag at the front desk. Just a whacky way to do business. * * *

The owners wife unexpected had rage against me and told me that I'm not welcome to take my car here anymore. I have no idea why they gave me anger, disrespect, and hostility for no apparent reason. I gave them thousands of dollars as the service grew worse every time I went there. I don't recommend you come here. They raised the price on everything for subpar service. Please run away from here.
