Had a very uncomfortable experience at this location early this morning. A manager escalated a…read morenon-issue by calling police, fire, and medical responders regarding someone who was asleep in their car and not bothering anyone. The situation was handled without discretion or empathy and felt inappropriate and excessive. While I understand store policies, involving multiple emergency services in this way was unnecessary and embarrassing to witness. I use to regularly shop at Wawa and support this business, which made this experience even more disappointing. Most staff members at this location have been polite and respectful, but this particular interaction showed a serious lack of basic human empathy and poor judgment. The lack of empathy shown was alarming. Treating a human being as an inconvenience rather than exercising basic decency reflects poorly on the management at this location. This experience significantly changed how I view this location.

I advised her I wanted $25 dollars on pump 17 and I put in my telephone number which lets the attendant know how many gas points I have that I could use to pay for my fuel,as soon as I gave her my credit card she swiped it ( here I am standing waiting for her to tell me how much I had available( referring to the gas points you receive for shopping at Kroger and Harris Teeter, most of us if not all know what I'm talking about ) she returned my card and my receipt without even asking me about the points. I was kind of disappointed because when I got fuel this past Monday I had .20 off so I knew I had more available to redeem. I don't want to put her name out there because I don't want to cause any problems but I want Kroger to enlighten their employees so this doesn't happen to anyone else,we all want the option to save money so that's my point I'm trying to get across. I didn't give 5 stars only because this is the first time this has happened to me!. No big deal but I just wanted to put this matter out in the open.

It was about 11:15 a.m. on Saturday that I entered the store so it wasn't that packed, but the employees , the cashier, everyone was at their post. No one was MIA whereas we couldn't find anyone to check out. The employees were pleasant as well. The store was clean the parking lot was clean as well. The store also has some glow-in-the-dark straws for the Slurpees I guess this is a Halloween product that they have that was only $0.99, love them! The store also had NFL straws for the Slurpees and I guess you could use them for the Big Gulps or any other drink and they sold for $1.99. But most of the teams were already brought, but luckily I did find one that my babe liked so I was able to get that for him. It's the small and quirky things that 7-Eleven sells that make visits worthwhile.
