The cashier was counting cigarette packs and I stood there about 3 minutes waiting on him to finish. It was $7.99 for the tiny bottle of Nyquil, but I needed it so I got it anyway. The cashier rang it up at almost $11. I said that was wrong, the price said $7.99. He mumbled something I couldn't understand and just looked at me. I motioned to walk back to the aisle with me, and he did, and I showed him the price. He mumbled some more. I told him to just give me the right price and I'd be good. We went back to the register--I expected him to credit me a couple of bucks. He reached me back my $10 and took the Nyquil and walked away. I stood there a minute, then motioned to the Nyquil. He mumbled something else that was obviously negative, something about "you wanted a refund." I said no, I just wanted a credit of a couple of bucks to get the advertised price. He said whatever it rings up to IS the price. I left and bought a bigger bottle of Nyquil at the Thorton's for less money, and had a much nicer cashier. It's not the buck or two... it's the attitude that drove me away. If your employees aren't empowered to make purchases right, you must not trust them very much, and if you don't trust them, you shouldn't have them working for you.

Debbie Morris, the proprietor, greeted us warmly from behind the counter. The atmosphere and vibe of the establishment was very homey, friendly and familiar, but it was the aroma of the homemade chicken soup that led us to Liam, the restaurant that operates within the premises. Having read about their breakfast sandwiches, I decided to add several of them to our take-out order, along with the chicken soup, of course. Since skimmers have become a public nuisance and they target gas stations; it would be wise to do this. Go back. Check on the cameras. Check pumps daily. The pump I bought my gas from was the one nearest to the car wash on the outside (not closest to the gas station mart).

We stopped in for gas and a fill up. Nice sized station that seems freshly renovated and stocked with plenty of options. My biggest complaint is that the mens room were a disaster which didn't match the vibe of the rest of the place. Sometimes when you walk into a gas station you can kinda tell by the rest of the place of the bathroom facilities will be gross or not. This one did not put off that vibe so we were surprised. Overall nice gas station with good snack and treat options and plenty of pumps. Filled out needs for gas, snacks and bathroom facilities. So overall mission accomplished.
