Petro-Canada 1502 8 Street East, Saskatoon location. I've…read morebeen going to this location for years and years-- mostly for the carwash, but I do get gas there on occasion. I don't do a lot of driving, and I don't have a garage to park in, so my SUV is exposed to the elements. This carwash usually does a great job, but on very rare occasions, it doesn't come out completely clean. When this happens, I go inside and they've always given me a complimentary 2nd wash. Today this happened again. I had just used my last carwash, so I decided to load up my Wash $ Go card again, and let the attendant know that my car hadn't been cleaned thoroughly. No one else was inside the store. She came out and had a look. I pointed to the obvious gunk on the windshield. She mushed it around with her finger and was going to go in and get a towel and windex to clean it off, rather than letting me go through the wash again. I told her there were likely other marks that didn't get cleaned off, and I was right-- the sunroof was still spotted with filth. She told me that she wasn't going to give me another carwash for one spec of dirt on the car. I let her know that I've been doing business there for years and would have topped up my card again, but her treatment made me rethink. I told her I'd never be back. There was an attendant outside also when I left and I told him of the situation. He didn't care and said he'd go in and talk to the attendant inside. I left and immediately called up head office. They were pleasant and said this was not typical of the way the handle things, nor was it indicative of their policy. I was given a free car wash. I will use it, but have decided that the Co-op gas bar is where I spend my dollars on fuel and carwashes in the future. Thank you for making me feel appreciated, Petro-Canada!

*This review pertains only to the car wash*…read more Worst. Car wash. Ever. TL;DR - this is not a good car wash. Don't go here unless you hate your car. Took my new car in to get it washed at the Ludlow St. Coop Gas Bar car wash after filling the tank. My car wasn't super dirty, but it had some road grime on it from a trip to Alberta a couple of weeks ago. Basically I just wanted to rinse off the dust and stuff. Paid for the middle selection wash - not the premium or the basic. The wash *seemed* like it was doing something...? There was water...there was soap...there was wax...there was a rinse... But then I noticed that the air dryer was dripping soap or wax on the car as it was blowing. And as the windshield dried I could see a film of ...something... that hadn't been there before. Immediately after I pulled over in the Coop parking lot to take a look and it looked like the car hadn't been washed. It was disgusting. The loose dirt from the puddles we'd driven though during a rain storm in AB was gone. But the road grime - that filmy stuff - was still there. And the soap and wax residue had made it look even worse by adding a dull layer of crud on top. Worst of all the car had dried splatters of soap or wax up the hood, over the roof, and down the back. The wheels were still dirty and had wax where it it had pooled at the bottom of the wheels. The rocker panels had streaks of dried dirty soap down them. Not cool. $11 for nothing. If you're looking for a decent automatic car wash, go elsewhere. Your car will love you for it.
