The machines would only take cards with taps. Not chips and not slides. Usually they would take my debit card that only has a chip in a slide. And I'm surprised that they didn't take it this time. I was only making a purchase for mega millions. I swear to God, I really wanted to curse at their faces, as well as raising my voice. These guys are very shady workers. This is the second time I go to this gas station to pay with cash and put my rewards number and they still charge you the same as if I was paying with a credit card. When you asked them why It didn't take the rewards number they give you an excuse that the internet isn't working. Sounds like a crock! Review at the time of visit. 1st time visiting this particular location. Generous space between fuel station pumps. Generous space around fuel station pumps and parking area. This place meets ADA requirements on accomodating those patrons who has physical disabilities. Has a ramp for wheelchaired patrons. Generous selection of snacks and drinks. Has a freaking Del Taco inside!!!! HOW FREAKING AWESOME IS THAT?!?!? Why only 4 stars? 1. The restroom was missing paper towels; ran out of paper towels. There are toilet papers and toilet seat covers though. 2. Fuel on this station has up to 10 percent Ethanol. It was $5.99 per gallon on the regular grade during my visit. Some cent higher compared to the surrounding fuel stations. Convenient location. Has some nearby shops and food shops. read more

We stopped at Shell to pump before leaving to the valley around 2:49 pm. My father just passed, so my wife and I were talking about the services. We did not pay attention to see if the gas tank was full. All we notice was a charge, and the message to pick up receipt from cashier. We decided to not get the receipt and drove away. Just as we drove away and stopped at a red light, we noticed the gas tank was in empty. We drove back and the incompetent assistant manager was clueless. He showed us two receipts stating that no charge was ever made. However, my wife showed him that her account reflected an $85 transaction from her phone. He then contacted his supposedly manager Ana Rojas. The situation turned into a sad reality. Drove away with no gas or refund either!!!!! We insisted that he is the manager and needed to fix the issue, but then again he kept calling "Nayeli" or Ana Rojas over the phone. She was extremely rude, zero people skills, offered nothing but poor customer service. The more nonsense she spoke over the phone, the angrier we got. Great, two moron managers! Finally, we asked for corporate number and name of the owner to contact him/her. We got a number that is no longer in service. I returned back to the store and the "no clue" assistant manager stated, "That's the number I only saw in the office." Do not pump gas in this shell; customers are getting ripped off. I pulled up to buy gas like I normally do. As I was getting out the car the cashier comes out yelling at me to move my car. I asked why and she said that they had to prepay the pump I pulled up to for someone else. I didn't argue, despite being their issue and not my fault. I simply replied "Okay, let me put this in the trash". She followed me asking me if I understood what she was saying. I repeated myself and she began talking down to me as I began to move my car. I asked her to stop following me and as I pulled away she was talking shit. I will never do business with this location. Poor customer service. If you don't know how to talk to ppl don't work in customer service. Give certain ppl a little bit of authority and they lose respect. She's very lucky I drove away. read more

If you live in SCV and use Via Princessa to connect to the 14 you'll know this station is really a good location. The issue with it though is the prices are not always competitive and traffic can make it difficult to get back out on the road. The have a good size convenience store that can get you what you need for the road and enough pumps to accommodate. If you have a Costco membership it is a block away and you can use that for better prices. This is a station that has become an "only if" stop for me...."only if" I don't think I can make it to another location or "only if" this is a quick stop for something inside before I hit the road. read more

Has problems with credit card reader, better to pay inside. Also, their prices are not really fair you can find cheaper fuel. The station is clean and convenient, the customer service is great. The store is spacious and had a lot of useful items. read more

I went in last Sunday to get gas. Monday I noticed I got charged $1.00 to use the machine outside. I used credit card instead of debit. NO NOTICE that they charge extra & I don't see on their receipt as well. I've been call their # 661-252-9042 phone# the receipt & their website, its disconnected & no forwarding #. Very frequently have to go inside to get my receipt or the pumps don't work. It's weird. I mean, how can you run a business with ur pumps always down. And what's the point of pay at the pump when it never lets u pay at the pump . It's so frustrating because no one has time to go inside. This location is convenient for me but I might need to start thinking ahead and just go to another gas station if this continues, and to be honest , I really don't think this is gonna change. It's a gas station... not much more to say. It's conveniently located and there's a drive thru Del Taco. Often times I have the misfortune of trying to get gas when it's busy and there are broken pumps, but I usually blame my luck for that. read more

The pumps at this station are frequently down, or the credit card readers don't work. Today the pump treated my Shell card like a debit card so I have to go inside to pay, then go back inside for a refund when it doesn't pump that amount. It totally defeats the pay-at-the-pump idea. read more

Worst gas station ever. It's in a convenient location so I've used it several times. Typically they at least have one or two pumps that don't work. After waiting several minutes I found a pump that I thought worked because the car ahead of me seemed to use it. So I put my card in and it showed that it was charging me but not gas came out!
