This petrol station has public toilets that have disabled access, if you are ever cut short or on long journeys. Inside is a costa coffee machine £2.40 for any size and if you buy anything from the bakery section it's only 32p more. Car wash facilities available, logs & that reformed coal whatever it's called not got a clue what it's called and daily news paper stand. Staff are very polite.

The trains are frequent to both Glasgow and Edinburgh and there's services to many smaller towns too that aren't on the Glasgow-Edinburgh shuttle service route. The staff are always very helpful and there never is much of a wait at either the counter or the machine. Only quibble is that you have to get a key from the counter to use the one toilet (accessible for wheelchairs). While this is never a problem, the station could do with more toilets that do not require a key, especially as it gets busier with all the new housing in the area.

Because it's not in the middle of town, it's not very busy I've passed it many times and there are never long queues. There's a car wash to one side which I'll try sometime as well. It has everything. Clothes, fridges, celeriac, bin bags, spectacles, dentist, bank, bakery, fishmongers, coffee place, toys, booze, frozen food, petrol, Gaviscon.... The list goes on, almost endlessly. And it's open 24 hours. Staff are usually really helpful and always manage to point me in the right direction for whatever weird little item I've come in for. I realise it's Tesco, but for what it does it does it incredibly well. No wonder this brand is taking over the UK, street corner by street corner.

I have to applaud the staff of this place for putting up with the crazy clientele they must encounter, as a 24 hour garage, with everyone from steamers to stoners pestering them for munchies in the early hours of the morning. But it is quite roomy, and the shop-floor is bigger than compared to Greenock Petrol Filling Station, it is quite bright and clean. You also can top up your mobile phone and pay cash/credit card Also it does not have customer toilets! Even this filling station do not have a Car Wash! But they do gives you free water for the windscreen, and air as well. This filling station tends to get busy during the peak time, and the entrance and the exit to the road are good, and easy to get in and out of this station.

We filed up here having got a money off each litre of fuel due to shoping in the supermarket and it made a wee bit of a difference. The cars can manoever round the forecourt easily and the staff member was very friendly serving us. We got a newspaper and a few bottles of juice they had quite a lot of bits and pieces for your everyday needs. The petrol station is ideally situated for the tourists driving alongside the clyde as it would not take you too far off your planned route and it is easy to find you can not miss it!

It sits at the Lanark side of the roundabout in Newmains and is open 24hr it is on average the cheapest or second cheapest for petrol or diesel, and it has a good forecourt shop for those household goods that you have forgotten to get before the shops shut (a lifesaver at times) and unlike the other petrol stations in Newmains free air and water, it also has a cash machine and well kept toilet facilities, and the staff on the whole are friendly and helpful and they are also quick to start the pump when you pull in unlike a lot of garages.
