I usually stop for gas if I am running low and I am in the area, using the self serve pumps. The store is small but it has many of the main things you would want like drinks and snacks.

That was one of the first things I looked for, and my question was immediately answered by the hand-taped sign on the door. On the positive side, the older gentleman behind the cash register greeted me as soon as I walked in, and was cordial during my transaction. Also, this business is in a prime location: Route 1-A, at the junction with Route 138, so it's a convenient stop when you're getting on or off the Jamestown Bridge. Unfortunately, the negatives outweigh the positives, hence my 2 star rating. The store is rather small, so they feature a somewhat limited selection of drinks and snacks. Stocking was spotty in some areas, particularly chips. Also, the parking lot is too small, even for a store this size. Finally, traffic on this road can get busy in the summer.

They all know me by sight and are always very pleasant and helpful. Though access can be a pain sometimes it's the surrounding traffic that is the cause and I manage just fine with a full size truck with full size extended cab. Plus there prices are usually the same as the self service station up the road....it's a win-win
