The store itself was dirty and the area around the frozen yogurt was wet with spilt ice cream. That's a fall waiting to happen. The trash cans outside were full to the max, contributing to littering our environment because it's windy and stuff was flying around. Overall, awful. Racetrac DO BETTER. If you need to hire more staff than hire them, but that's just unnecessary and unacceptable.

It is also kept very clean. #1 It's a station in the middle of the turnpike's north & south bound lanes near the SW 120 street so no need to exit on to main streets to fill up. #2 Free water & air. Most places charge for these things. This station also has a really nice air machine that lets you set the psi you want your tires at & it will beep when the psi reaches that level. This allows you to skip having to bring your own tire pressure gauge or fumble around looking for quarters. #3 There is a small fenced in dog area. #4 Since it is directly next to the FHP station, there is almost always Police presence at night so you can feel safe filling up with gas, stopping to use the restroom, filling air, water, & or buying snacks. #5 This one is for the truckers out there. The biggest problem is that the Dunkin Donuts is run by the Shell employees, not actual Dunkin people. Don't expect the best, most knowledgeable service when ordering a drink. The gas station itself is fairly accessable once you get there, and the restrooms are located in a separate building that is kept pretty clean. It's a decent enough stop to gas up the car and your belly.

This time, we decided to stop in for some "sugar" and some coffee for my husband. Inside, it was large, clean, and well-stocked. It was brightly lighted. My husband liked that they had several different types of coffee as well as brands of coffee from which to choose. He said it was very good. We both selected a Dunkin donut from the closed display case. We were pleased to find that donuts tasted quite fresh and delicious, as well. They have all sorts of other beverages, snacks, and cooked food, as well. Need a hat or a phone cable or cigarettes? They have those, too. Did I say they have some fresh fruit, like apples near the register? I used the women's facility, and it was clean and presentable. It had enough stalls so there was no waiting when we were there. They also have showers for travelers and truckers which was a nice added amenity. Now that we've stopped here, I'm sure we will stop again. It's a good spot to take a bathroom or stretch and snack break prior to getting on Route 60 west which doesn't have that many facilities between the towns.

Their claim to fame is the Pecan Log Roll - fluffy, cherry-laced nougat wrapped in fresh caramel and pecans, but I did not order one. I simply stopped for gasoline and a soda. Hours of Operation: M-Th 5AM-8PM, F-Sun 5AM-9PM They also have an ATM, and gasoline.

This is the Shell station in the Fort Drum Service Plaza along the Florida Turnpike. It's not as…read morebig as many of the service plazas, having pretty much only the gas station, but it had what I needed; gas and a restroom. And while I was there, a cup of tea. The restroom was fine (and clean) and the tea was fine (although they don't have stevia, which is what I prefer for my tea), but I'm not dinging them on that. I had my own stevia with me so that wasn't a loss. But they do lose stars because of the gas pumps. The scanner didn't work on my chip card so I wasn't able to tap it or insert it. It kept telling me to see the cashier. Now, if the cashier was near the pumps, that would be fine, but to have to walk all the way into the shop only to walk all the way back to the pump negates the whole idea behind pay-at-the-pump. Worse, there was nothing wrong with the card. It was the same card I used at the cashier and it worked perfectly. I don't know why it didn't work, and I don't care, but they need to get their pumps working correctly.

This fine location is my closest for now, but they are building a new one in my teeny tiny town as I type this. Arriving- Directly on US Rout 27 North so easy peasy. As with most Wawa's it's very busy so slow down and be careful when you park. While you're there, take advantage of their two free air machines for your tires. They're famous for that! When you park, take notice that many close-in spaces are numbered. Ambience- Boatloads of gas pumps with good prices. Not always the best gas price but close and the great food makes up for it. Inside it is bright and cheery and clean. It's 99% take-out so don't plan on sitting inside. The App- I think it's great and I especially like Curbside Pickup! I like it so much that I rarely go inside anymore! Just park in a clearly numbered spot! Customer Service- I'm usually doing Curbside Pickup so it's just one delivery person. They are almost always on time and often a little ahead of the time specified in the app. I have never had an incorrect order. The delivery person is always friendly so five stars. Food- So, every kind of drink you can imagine, and an amazing choice of sandwiches along with pizza. Today I ordered a Classic Roast beef Sub with extra beef and an Iced Coffee which set me back at about $14. The choices available for your sub are more than in most places. I love that they have sweet peppers! It was cheerfully brought out to my car in about 12 minutes. It's delivered in a nice, reusable bag. As you can see from my pic this was a solid sub. The meat was plentiful and tender, and the toppings were very fresh. As usual, it was excellent! Conclusion- These guys are the top of the heap when it comes to convenience/gas chains. The gender assigned male bathroom was an absolute pig sty and did not want to touch anything - the heavily rusted handicap rails, sink faucet and worn out paint were only part of the issue. Cmon people, it takes only a minute or two per hour to check it!!! Not going to get into it further since the pic tells the whole story.
