Supreme with no green peppers-sub banana peppers!

Stopped for a quick gas fill up and a bathroom break and when we walked in there is a pizza place called DeLuca's that is serving Large pizzas only. It smelled so good in here - unusual for a gas station, so we're sitting in their quite clean table area and waiting for our pizza. Everyone is so kind - from the gas station attendant to the pizza counter server that even brought our pizza out to us! Well lit parking area and bathrooms are spotless! So glad we picked here to stop! Yay!

So glad to see what they have done to this place. If you are an RV'er , a trucker or just a regular car driver this place is a great stop. My review is based on RV traveling We needed to stop for Propane and pulled this place up online. Last time I was here this place looked nothing like it does now. I'm sorry I didn't get a bathroom photo but the inside was spotless, clean and nothing was spared during the renovation. They have an area for showering, a subway inside, a pizza place and of course the standard pre heated hot dogs, hamburgers , sandwiches , snacks etc. They had propane, free air for your tires (at the RV area only) the air on the other side you had to put for. They had a long mop/squeegee so we were able to clean off the love bug mess from out windows and front of RV. While hubby was cleaning love bugs and gassing up I had to visit the peach tent. The woman gave me a slice of the peach and that was it. I bought a bucket. I think they only sell buckets but the small one was $10 and it had 9 or 10 peaches in it. The larger one was $15 but we're just 2 people. She also had pineapple and mangoes but we just got peaches.

24 hour gas, convenience store and truck stop at the Yeehaw Junction exit of the Florida Turnpike. I've stopped here on numerous occasions but only for gas and drinks. No food. Location has a separate Subway sandwich shop with it's own staff. Nasty dirty convenience store. On this particular occasion, the line was long and I had to wait for my drinks - water and soda. As I waited, I noticed cashier Lisa picking up trash. While I watched, Lisa dumped some food and paper products in an already full trash can. She then used both hands to push the trash down into the can. Lisa wiped both hands on her pants legs and returned to the register. I was the next customer. As Lisa went to grab my drinks, I pulled them back stating "please don't touch my stuff with your dirty hands." She became indignant and walked away. Another cashier had to complete my purchase. Easy purchase, not so simple. After picking up food and trash from the floor with your bare hands and thereafter sticking them directly into the trash can, it's not an unreasonable thought that you would wash them. Picture this if you will.... it's mid-morning in Tampa, and you have a late-afternoon meeting across the state in Boca Raton with a business partner. You pause to ponder your driving alternatives and quickly rule out the thought of driving south on I-75, then around the southern end of the state on Alligator Alley, and finally back north on the Florida Turnpike. Oh no......too many wasted hours and miles. Option #2 would be to travel across I-4 into Orlando, then pick up the Florida Turnpike and head south to Boca. Hmmmmmm.....that has some possibilities, but the traffic in Orlando can get wonky. Or Option #3 would be to pick up SR-60 out of Tampa and drive along the two-lane highway with several hundred tanker trucks filled with milk, and open-top container trucks filled with citrus, (c'mon c'mon good buddy!) and wind your way through the heart of Florida's agricultural paradise until you reach YeeHaw Junction and the intersection of the Turnpike. Even though your voice of common sense is screaming at you, saying "Danger, Will Robinson, Danger!", your GPS unit quickly calculates the route through the cow pastures.....and off you go. Now I truly do not have a grudge against those fine folks who drive long-haul trucks, even if they do feel the need to hang on my rear bumper while I'm doing 80 mph. The thrill of looking into your rear-view mirror and seeing the blood-thirsty stare of some deranged trucker who's jacked up on an entire case of 5-hour energy drinks, and who would like nothing more than to run over my SUV gives me a certain spark of excitement for the entire journey, not to mention the fingernail claw marks in my steering wheel. Couple this with the fact that it is love bug mating season, and before you're outside the city limits of Bartow you have an entire insect collection caked to your windshield. By the time you hit Lake Wales, those little suckers are about three deep, and there's no sign that the kamikaze dive-bombing bugs are letting up. You continue at this breakneck pace for the next hour and a half until all of that iced tea that you consumed earlier that morning is now screaming at you to find a rest area, or else...... And then you spy the sign advertising the Pilot Travel Center in beautiful downtown YeeHaw Junction, Florida. Surely there is no sweeter sight in the entire world..... You, and all of your newfound trucker buddies, pull in to the Pilot station to refuel, "off-load", stock up, and scrub the little buggers off your windshield. Pilot serves it's customers quite well, and I am always very thankful to see the sign letting me know that it's time to end the agony that is S.R. 60 and finally turn onto the Turnpike and continue my journey south.

Ohhh you wanted to wash your hands after using the disgusting and dirty bathroom? Sorry, not in this Pilot gas station!

Stopped here for snacks and gas. Left without any of them. The place is filthy from beginning to end. I know it's a gas station, but I also know it's at a pivotal spot between the turnpike and I-95 through Yeehawk junction. Decided I'd cross over and stop here. What a mistake. Went into the ladies restroom and the lack of cleanliness is what drove me away. 1- toilet paper all over the floor of the entire bathroom, the toilet paper coating on the floor was not confined to the inside of the stalls 2-the smallest 2 stall bathroom ever 3-the smell of urine not unlike what one would imagine the house of an animal hoarder would smell like 4-disgusting toilets which I imagine haven't been cleaned in quite some time As if all of this wasn't bad enough, if you thought you'd be washing your hands with soap on the way out of the restroom, you have another thing coming! The hand soap was nothing more than an empty bottle with the pump cast aside. Not. A. Single. Drop. Of. Soap. Sorry folks, next time I'll stop somewhere before Yeehaw so I never have to stop here again. A note to management, keep the place clean. People take note when bathrooms are dirty, and they wonder what else is dirty. No way am I buying a sandwich here. The female employees don't even have soap to wash their hands!

Yeeeeeehaaaaww! That's what you say when traveling from Parrish to the east coast of Florida on county and states roads because there is literally NOTHING out there. If you gotta poop, drink, get gas or break down, you are screwed. There is a store is Parrish, then a few in Ft. Lonesome and after that, you're on your own until Yeehaw Junction, pal. So stock up on supplies and grab some emergency car fluids because you never freaking know what could happen out there!

June 9, 2019. Yeehaw is happening now!

Fair prices considering if you pass this gas stations you're out of options for a while. Whats not to love about not taking advantage.

This time, we decided to stop in for some "sugar" and some coffee for my husband. Inside, it was large, clean, and well-stocked. It was brightly lighted. My husband liked that they had several different types of coffee as well as brands of coffee from which to choose. He said it was very good. We both selected a Dunkin donut from the closed display case. We were pleased to find that donuts tasted quite fresh and delicious, as well. They have all sorts of other beverages, snacks, and cooked food, as well. Need a hat or a phone cable or cigarettes? They have those, too. Did I say they have some fresh fruit, like apples near the register? I used the women's facility, and it was clean and presentable. It had enough stalls so there was no waiting when we were there. They also have showers for travelers and truckers which was a nice added amenity. Now that we've stopped here, I'm sure we will stop again. It's a good spot to take a bathroom or stretch and snack break prior to getting on Route 60 west which doesn't have that many facilities between the towns.
