Got up Friday with a bunch of running to do including the Grandkids meeting Santa at Town Centre Mall, new shoes at Coggins in Marietta, lunch and finally back to the hotel for a nap. Some additional running to start out with a run to Kohl's on Cobb to pick up a new set of underwear for me since my wife missed them in packing. her standing joke is that I always forget something. Gas gauge showed about a quarter of a tank so decided to just go across the street to Chevron. With the median dividers and no u-turns, it took a bit of navigation to get there. Gas was $3.39.9 which seemed at bit high because the day before when I filled up in Denver, I paid $2.89.9 but local markets vary in part driven by State Taxes. Accepted it because of one of the hazards of travel and what else could you do. Drove over to Kohl's on Cobb Parkway which was about 5 miles away and the price at all of the gas stations including Chevon was $3.19.9 or 2O cents less expensive. Later when we got over to Town Centre Mall for the photo's with Santa, there was a Quik Trip with gas at $3.04.9, Something is not right. This Chevron is in the middle of KSU and granted between two interstates, is making it more difficult for College/University Students who in many cases, the extra 30 cents a gallon could impact an already tight budget. I remember back in antiquity when I was a College Student when every penny counted.

If you take Townpark Way you will circle (get it? Circle K and circle...) around to the back of the retail shops such as Dunkin Donuts, Chipote, Capriotti, Panda Express and Tropical Smoothie cafe. Town Park Way dead ends onto Town Park Lane which takes you to another shopping center with Chick Fit A, Panera Bread, Embassy Suites and Ruth Chris Steak House. Town Park Lane takes you back on George Busbee and or Chastain so either way you're going to be fine. This Circle K is connected to a Chevron station.....

Cleanliness is always solid at this location from the lots to the bathrooms. Conditionally, the store is starting to show a bit of wear, which is honestly expected. It is nothing critical, but is certainly visible. Service is friendly for the most part. Only had one "off" interaction here on a recent trip in, but nothing too major. And proceeded to tell me it was "HIS" store. Also he told me "You're weird. You are doing kratom this stuff is for weirdos. It's for people trying to get off meth." (Which is extremely incorrect lol.) And that it was his store. Why does he not know anything about the products he is selling? Not a bad deal. There are Amazon lockers on the outside side doors and features 18 pumps including diesel. It's a busy store because it's right off of 75 but I've never had a bad experience here. The clerks here are always super energetic and friendly even though it's busy as heck....so kudos to them for that.....It's a good pit stop for a little R&R if you're in the area...
