The restrooms here are in bad condition. Most of the products are generally out of stock. I will say that it's convenient that's right by the highway. There's plenty of parking and gas pumps but that's the only good I can say about this gas station.

Driving down 170 over the weekend I managed to catch a glance at the sign showing 2.45/gallon for…read moregas and I have to admit that it certainly managed to get me to pull over however it wasn't until I pulled into the lot that I realized that the price was with a car wash, and that the regular price was 2.65, which was the same as the QT across the street. Instead of crossing over to QT, I figured that I could use a car wash anyways and decided to fill up here. The car wash was normally priced $6 for a basic wash, and with my savings on fuel it ended up costing about $4, not a huge savings but it was something. Anyways the pumps were clean and easy to use, however I did not step inside. When I pulled around to use the car wash I discovered that the machine was slow, very slow, I mean it took nearly 15+ minutes to do 3 cars ahead of me. And to make matters worse while waiting for the car in front of me to finish I could see mold growing on the machine, it was a mess. Hopefully the inside of this station is maintained better than a machine that is meant to keep the outside of your car so fresh and so clean.

The catch is that this particular store does not feel the need to keep either of these fresh and/or ready. The food/coffee station in general is grossly ignored and employees make it clear they have no intention of changing that any time soon. The other was a young girl with curly blonde hair and glasses. She must be fairly new because I'm not sure that I've seen her there before. The line was long - about 4 customers in front of me and, eventually, another 4 or 5 behind. When it was my turn, I requested a pack of cigarettes. She retrieved and scanned them and then asked for my ID. I was a little surprised but thought it must be a new policy. As I was getting my wallet to show her my ID, she said, "If you don't have it I can't sell them to you, and then called out, NEXT." I showed her my ID and paid for my cigarettes. I had to laugh. I'm 68 years old, so it's not even a close call. I understand that some stores have this policy and it has nothing to do with my apparent age. At one time, this store had a policy of asking for ID from everyone, but they haven't done so in years. As I was leaving, another patron made a comment about the absurdity. The cashier then shouted at me, "Don't come back again without your ID!" ?? The ID she had just look at? I explained that I'm not usually carded there and asked if I was a new policy. I believe she said, "Yes." I was not happy with her rudeness and lack of professionalism. When I asked her name, she rattled off something intelligible and refused to repeat it.

Their location makes them very convenient, it's just too bad their front lot is so tight (you can park on either side or in the back lot.) They have some great pricing on some things (beer, smokes, candy) yet not as great on chips and sodas. They have very good coffee and feature Paul's Donuts and some other good looking snack-food items which, even though I have not tried them, do seem to be popular. Regardless, the main point of a gas station is gas after all, and they are usually the first station in this area to lower the price.

It seems to be popular, so you'd think some Yelper would have already got the review ball rolling. The staff was friendly, moved the lines quickly and still offered personable service. I was even impressed with the cleanliness and well stocked merchandise for the volume of business they were doing. This is not a QT in my hood or a typical area that I travel, but they impressed me and would recommend it for those who live near by.
