With all the bars around, we didn't close until 3am. And I had to deal with all the drunks. But the Subway is managed separately from the gas station (although they share an owner). The gas station is 24 hours, and the cashiers were always friendly. We would keep each other company a lot of times, or back each other up if people got really unruly. There used to be a TCBY in there too, but I am fairly certain it's gone now. Standard beer selection, nice layout with the attendant station in the center between the entrance and exit doors, and usually pretty clean, particularly considering its campus location. As far as gas stations go, it also has a fair amount of parking and pumps. One of the bigger drawbacks is that it can be difficult to get into and out of being right at the corner of Neil and Lane.

Well the next day I go to bring my boys to school my car would not start. I tried everything. I go and call my insurance Progressive to see if they could help and they tried but the person they sent out could not help. So, I remember seeing that place on my way to my bank and I had my car towed there. Now mind you I don't have any friends or family down here to pick me up or my youngest son. So, we get there and they said they will start on it right away because that was my own transportation. So, at noon they started working on it and by 4: 00pm that same day my car was done. I could tell the difference within my car and I was so thankful that they got it down right away. Best valentines day presence ever. They're supposed to rotate them for free after x amount of miles. The first time I took it in, an employee eyeballed them and said they didn't need it. I took it back several miles later and the manager pulled it in and looked at the tires, which weren't that old at the time. He came back and told me I needed tires and some work. I declined, left and took it to another shop. Was told none of that was true. I realize they're a box store and trained to upsell. I've never returned and have no plans to. Prior to that, I had taken multiple vehicles there. Never again, nor would I ever recommend them.

Had a Groupon--I didn't realize my car doesn't work with the type of oil it was for (they also fully explained why, and they are correct, I just never thought about it before)--but they still took it & adjusted it & even gave me a little discount on top, because my car uses a smaller amount of oil.
