I came here on a rainy day to get a little gas and something to drink. The station attendant, apparently the owner, was very friendly. He apologized for not having a canopy over his gas pumps, especially on a day with such bad weather. He said he hoped to have one built soon, but the Ann Arbor City Council won't let him build one. More recently, I stopped there on a very, very cold day (0°F). As I began pumping gas, I noticed it was going very slowly. I stopped the flow and restarted, then checked to make sure the handle was fully engaged, but it made no difference. Then, an attendant ran out from the shop and told me that on very cold days runs very slow. The secret is to stop the flow for about ten seconds, then restart it. He demonstrated and it began running normally. I'm impressed that the attendants at this station are friendly and seem to be interested in helping their customers.
