Stopped in for gas before we left for the morning. Also went in to get a coffee. As I was walking in I noticed a bunch of condensation on the doors. No big deal as it was cool inside and hot/humid outside. Only mention this as I noticed someone had written birthday something in it. Grabbed coffee but the creamers were empty. I did find a large bottle of vanilla nut creamer so we were good. I asked the lady at the counter whose birthday it was and it happened to be hers, so wished her a happy birthday which she appreciated and thanked me for. read more

Stopped here in Forrest City, AR to gas up and use the restroom. I first spotted a BRAND NEW Speedway gas station next to this Shell BUT it wasn't open yet... and the Mobile was further down the road so we pulled in here. I'm sorry, but I could tell from the outside of this place that it was going to be a dump... and it was. Yuck. My kids and I made our way to the restroom and spotted a soda machine with 3 "out of order" signs on the fountains. Next to it was a frozen slush machine with 2 of the 4 machines with "out of order" on them. (Yikes) Then the bathroom... I'm not sure why but there were TONS of flies in there. So many that my oldest refused to use the bathroom. We got the heck out of there as quick as we could. I do NOT recommend. I bet you once the Raceway next door opens, this Shell will go out of business. No way it'll compete with a brand new fancy gas station with no flies and working fountain drinks. read more

I'm going to start rating gas stations as of now. This place is filthy dirty. Tired of it, maybe this will save fellow travelers from having to waist their money on gas, buying food and nasty bathrooms. The Popeyes their sucked too. Ordered chicken strips and they were cold and nasty. read more

BEWARE SHOPPERS! They do not price items in their store, and so when our 2 yo wants a little candy toy after driving from El Paso, TX as a reward we get...thinking it can't be more than a few bucks. Nope it's $5.99. When I ask where the price is she says it isn't marked, but it's $5.99. Just a heads up. read more

This is a small SuperStop/ Shell Station just off I-40 between Memphis & Little Rock. The clerk is always friendly and greets you as you enter. The store isn't large but carries all the travel/snack necessities. You'll find a Popeyes attached to the SuperStop for fast food. Easy to get in and out of at the stop light off of Washington Street. read more

Stopped at this Shell Store particularly because looking online they had cheapest gas in area.. First thing gas pump wouldn't read my card when I swiped it.. Said Chip Malfunction.. Tried again and it told me to pay the clerk inside.. As I was going in my companion was coming back out shaking her head and said "No way".. She had gone ahead of me to use the restroom.. I waited in line and when got to the clerk I stated that I was wanting to fill up my tank but the pump told me to come in and pay the attendant.. The older black lady..(And you will see why I say that momentarily) and I say older.. Maybe late 50's.. Said.."Well you need to come in to pay".. I kinda looked at her and said.."Yes, that's why I came in..I'd like to fill up my gas tank.." I'm tired and trying to figure out what's going on with my card.. And she asked me how much?.. Full.. No this is where you tell me an amount.. Ma'am..I don't know I want to fill it up.. Well..What pump you at?..I look straight out the window and I'm at the 3/4 pump and I said 3 I think... It's right there.. She said to our ain't on 3.. Nobody's on 3!.. I said Ma'am it's the White car right there.. I don't know if it's 3 or 4.. Well It Ain't My Job to look..You supposed to know!.. I said You know what?.. You have a nice day.. And turned to leave.. She got louder saying Whatever!.. I said you have a nice day.. She got even louder Hollering I don't care.. Leave..Think I care?!.. As I opened the door I heard her telling the black patrons that had been in line behind me.. And I quote.. "White People Be So Stupid!.. Like it's my job to tell you him what pump to use!".. I got to my care and told my companion and she said "Well look across the street.. That Raceway has their gas for the same price, let's go over there.. Besides it looks like maybe the restrooms are cleaner." We went there and were treated with smiles and courtesy and respect.. By a young black woman.. So don't say Anything about the Speedway.. Don't Even Bother Going to the Shell Station in Forrest City, Arkansas.. It's filthy and clerk's are too!.. Go right on over to the new Speedway!.. They'll fix you right up.. And their gas pumps will actually read your card when you swipe it.. NO STAR'S!.. ZERO!!.. It Made Me Give 1 star for Review.. read more

This is hands down the best gas station I have ever been to. Not because of its cleanliness or bathroom quality, but because of the joyfulness, helpfulness, and charisma your young female cashier exuded. If I ever find myself on my way to Memphis again, I will 100% be stopping here. I am wowed. She helped me find the best tasting peanut butter crackers I've ever had. They satisfied my intense hunger and my tastebuds are dancing. She even went as far as to ask me if I wanted Reese's after she noticed my affinity for peanut butter. read more
