I ordered flowers over the phone and asked for them to be delivered to our hotel before we checked in on Valentine's Day as a surprise for my wife. I gave only minimal details about the kind of flowers she likes and spoke with Ray at the shop. Without needing much explanation, Ray immediately understood exactly what I was looking for and took care of everything. When we arrived at the hotel, there was a stunning bouquet waiting in the room. My wife was absolutely impressed and truly loved both the flowers and the arrangement. She even said it was a unique style she had never seen before--and I definitely scored some bonus points! Thank you, Ray and Shell Beach Floral Design, for making the entire process so easy and for making me look really good. Highly recommend! read more

I really should've written a review for Shell Beach floral years ago, I've been sending Mark flowers and a pretty regular basis when I was at bringing bouquets myself and they always arrived fresh gorgeous in with a big smile. I've sold my home here in California and I'm getting completely out. My private banker at Chase has been beyond amazing and I just discovered when I was closing my safety deposit box today that it's her birthday! So my final act here in the five cities area was to shop at my favorite florist and make sure that she had something special on her desk to celebrate her and her amazing service. It kind of goes hand-in-hand with Shell Beach floral - they also provide amazing service, great value, and are not afraid to think out of the side of the box when creating a stunning floral arrangement. I can't recommend them enough, if you're looking for flowers for any occasion this is the place! read more

My wife absolutely loves flowers. It's the only thing I can get right every time...getting her beautiful flowers to brighten up her day. After moving here from San Diego I tried several other florists until finding Shell Beach Floral. They have been my solid go to ever since for several years now. They always deliver gorgeous bouquets and the team is great. Highly recommended and thank you! read more

Another Great Job... Valentine's Day was knocking on my door and I wanted (needed?) to do something for my wife. She likes flowers, but trimming the branches and changing the water every few days can get discouraging. Still...this WAS Valentine's Day so I placed an order with the shop where I've had the best experiences...Shell Beach Floral Design. I called on a Tuesday one week before the holiday for pickup that Friday - 4 days before the holiday. I asked for an arrangement totaling around $100 with yellow roses, lilacs (if in season) and whatever else they thought appropriate. The woman who took my order asked a few good questions and said she didn't think lilacs would be available until April, but not to worry. The result was gorgeous (see the picture). There were 3 employees when I arrived and one (possibly the owner) went out of his way to describe the flowers, put the vase in a box to minimize the risk of tilting over in my car and could not have been more accommodating. I was definitely in good hands. Although my wife was not completely surprised to see her gift, she was still amazed at how nice they looked. It's been 10 days since everything came home and the aroma and sight of fresh flowers continues to light up our kitchen. read more

I was a little hesitant when I ordered these. I am not from the area and you never know what you will get when you order online. These flowers were amazing ! I was so impressed . I cannot say enough about Grace, and Shell Beach Floral Design. I don't live locally but needed a bouquet sent to my Grandma. I called Shell Beach Floral and they were so incredibly friendly and patient. I didn't have a particular design in mind, just chatted about a few wants and they put together a GORGEOUS arrangement for my sweet Gams. Grace even texted a photo before it was sent it out for delivery, which was so thoughtful. During delivery no one answered the door, and the driver called me to ask what I would like them to do. Fantastic business, highly recommend! read more

Our family could not be any happier about hiring Amanda and her team for our daughter's wedding. A destination wedding presents many challenges and through every step we were reassured that our daughter's requests & preferences would be delivered. And they were & then some! Amanda & Rey were very easy to work with, friendly & informative, providing suggestions when we stumbled. My daughter's vision was a little unusual (gothic but not Halloween-ish, dripping with blooms) and without judgment Amanda & team created the most beautiful rendition of her dream. In her own words, "It was my most favorite part of the wedding". I wish we had taken more pictures, but here are a few. Thanks to Ellie too for gorgeous table centerpieces & reception flowers. read more

I called to tell the owners of my disappointment, rather than a poor rating, and because things aren't perfect, and there needs to be room for that. Someone was going to call me back. No one has. My mistake paying an extra first time orderer fee, thinking I'd use them from here on out. The website depicted Clean. Classic. Bright. Cheery. The reality was Sloppy. Cheesy. Kitschy. Sad. Oh my. Per my normal, I was a major flower/florist snob when I spoke with Nicole at Shell Beach. She was AMAZING to work with and I could tell she was really listening and wanted to create what I was looking for. Given this arrangement was to be delivered to a hotel for them to place in a guest room as an anniversary gift, I wanted to ensure all of the details were handled. Shell Beach Floral Design - BEAUTIFUL! - Florists Near Me - Pismo Beach, California

I called Shell Beach Floral Design hoping to surprise my niece on her birthday. She turned nine and I knew flowers just for her would make her feel special. I assumed flowers for a nine year old was an odd request but when I called Shell Beach Floral Design that were just as excited as I was to help me spoil her. I am not creative. I don't have "the eye" so when I was asked what I had in mind I just told them things about my niece. She loves cats, mint and teal blue, and the beach. She is girly but also loves to get dirty. Somehow, some beautiful way, these amazing florists captured my nieces essence in one bouquet, complete with kitty tea towel! I asked for a photo and the wondrous team at Shell Beach Floral Design sent me three photos and addressed me as Aunt Mel, just as my niece would. They also planned to hold the delivery until the afternoon so she could be home from school to answer the delivery. Later, I found out from my sister that the towel was forgotten BUT they realized so quickly that I didn't even have a chance to ask about it. Not only did they bring it back to their house they wrapped it up like a little present! This is by far one of the best experiences I have had ordering something out of town for someone. Thank you Shell Beach Floral Design! Now my niece will have to take care of me when I'm old and senile!! read more
