This is by far my favorite station to get gas from. Wide variety of snacks and beverages to choose from bathrooms recently remodeled.

The gas station is open 24 hours, which is amazing at times and a life saver. I typically forget to stop and get gas when I'm leaving Portland and so I have to stop in either Albany or Corvallis for it. The employees have always been friendly, the bathrooms clean, and the product selection in the store is pretty decent. It's the average convenient store, but it works. I rarely buy things from the store. I stop for gas, to use the bathroom, or visit A&W. But when I need anything, the store is there and that makes it nice. Would I return? Yep, I have no complaints. It's a great location, just off the freeway, and it's just a good place to stop and stretch when I'm on the last leg of a drive home. Review 158 of 2017.

She immediately removed the card and said, "you should have asked me before I put your card in. Now I have to reset this and it's going to take several minutes! Is that what you want?" I'm sorry, whaat?! Did I just get reprimanded by the attendant?! I was polite, and said yes please. She said, well it's going to take a few minutes to reset the system, picks up the handle and slams it into the cradle and walks off. She comes back about 8 minutes later and picks it up, and slams it down again (I'm thinking the 1st slam didn't take?) A few minutes go by and she returns asking for my Safeway ID. To my delight (yes I said delight), she huffs and says you have ZERO points. what can I say? If that's all I can get out of how rude she was, I will take it. She went on to tell me how points don't roll over like phone plans... If you can get gas elsewhere, I would suggest driving past this Chevron; Unless of course, you don't mind the attitude. Just be sure to spit your Safeway ID out BEFORE you hand her your card.

I stopped here before sunrise not knowing the rules of self service stations in Oregon but I soon…read morelearned after the attendant jumped to his feet in a panic just as I swiped my credit card and began pumping fuel into my rental. This state has or had a similar law as does the state of New Jersey that prevents the driver from pumping their own gas in the name of safety, uhm that is unless the county has fewer than 40,000 residents then it's ok and safe I guess. Apparently the Oregon law passed nearly seven decades ago banned drivers from pumping their own gas the state law made it illegal for gas station customers to pump their own gas and mandated $500 fines for stations that violated the law by letting customers pump gas and risk blowing up planet earth. This tiny increase in freedom is apparently too much for some Oregonians to wrap their heads around. The problem is that many people are not capable of knowing how to pump gas since they never had nor do they know the hazards of doing it since the law has been in effect longer than most people have been alive. Although tens of millions of Americans in 48 states pump their own gas and--miraculously--manage to avoid setting themselves on fire or drowning in gas most around here feel this a service that only a few qualified people are capable of performing. The guy that approached me today looked so stoned I doubt he could of ran my credit card much less being capable of inserting the gas nozzle in the tiny hole without damaging the paint or spraying ethanol all over the ground. I guess I'll give them four stars for having such a rad staffer and for surviving the new law thus far, welcome to 2018 Oregonians...

WARNING: DO NOT GET GAS HERE!!!…read more Used GasBuddy to save a few pennies on a road trip. This place was a few cents less and not far from the highway. Driving a newer car with a 10 gallon tank. I was bone dry one time and it used 10.1 gallons. I know this car. I had 1 notch below 1/2 tank (~4.5 gallons full), but wanted to top off for the trip home. I tried multiple cards and it kept having "card reader error". I finally went in and pre-paid and the cashier told me it would credit the balance back in a day or so *fine* I prepaid way more than I needed. I gassed up and my 10 gallon tank, that was half full, took an additional 8.2 gallons?! You have got to be kidding?! There is NO WAY that my 10 gallon tank, that was Half-Full, could possibly take an additional 8.2 gallons. No Way. I went inside and talked to a cashier. The cashier's on duty said, "yeah, we hear that a lot. We keep telling the owners that customers are complaining and we need to have the pumps calibrated. We also keeping telling them that the card readers are all broken and only use tap pay. We've been telling them for MONTHS. They just don't care." Holy smokes! This is SO ILLEGAL!!! I was OVERCHARGED BY 3+ GALLONS of gas. I thought I was saving a few cents a gallon and ending up being overcharged by ~$10 for gas because they have tinkered with the pumps to read that it has pumped more than it actually does and charges accordingly. STAY AWAY.

You need a cattle prod to get them to more a few steps from behind the counter and anything beyond "Duh what" is stretching their vocabulary. Being disabled means having to wait for them to get a clue and honking my horn after 10 min. Received no reply either, luckily I had enough fuel to get home this time. They never came out after 20 min. So I left. $30 loss today thousands lost as a former customer! I hope they get robbed and they call 911 and they tell them we will be there if we get the time! Like they do in California. Nothing quit so stupid as calling 911 and being put on hold. Crooked service station owners were getting ragged on for decades in Oregon because the cost of fuel is at least 50 cents a gallon higher than everywhere else. They always had the excuse that they had to pay pump jockey' because of no self service. Well that excuse is gone why are you still lining your pockets?

I recently had a trip through Oregon and their pump attendant Mickayla was incredibly rude and unprofessional. She broke my gas door when I specifically told her not to close it because of a similar occurrence I had had on a previous trip. And now the manager Tori is saying that they won't do anything about it. So just a word to the wise don't leave your car in their hands you'll leave with damage and probably won't know about it. Save the money it'll cost you in damage and pay the extra 10-20 cents at another station.
