The nurse who administered the shot was great - he made sure I had a numbing agent on the knee first. When he saw a bandaid below my knee, he wanted to know what it was there for. I kind of blew off the "injury" but he took the bandaid off and told me I might want to have that area checked as any mole that bleeds a lot is suspect. I appreciate his thoughtful attention to detail and will get the area checked out.

I have had some foot pain that he has injected and recommended that I wait and give it time as surgery may not help. He was right as it cleared up with time. He also operated on my dorsal bunion and did a great job. An orthopedic foot doctor looked at my foot and ask who did my dorsal bunion surgery as they did a fantastic job. Dr. Bembynista did it of course. When I had something fall on my foot and I thought it was broke, they got me in that day to check it. He knew what to do and I was waking on it in a short time! I was out. i was told the product were not free. they only gave 4 topical solution lubes free and that the cream was $25. I had gotten maybe 3 tubes of cream free. I was told if I got one that day it would be $25. I told them that I misunderstood apparently in the beginning and thst I did not want the cream, if it was $25. I am a veteran and can get alethia foot cream free at the VA. The cream he previously gave me for free, did not clear up the foot fungu. I did not take the cream, today I received a bill for $25. I don't know what for, I did not take the cream, that they wanted $25 for. the receptionist at the greenhills road location was rude to me, when I told her I didn't understand the cost of medication in the beginning of treatment. I do not feel like I should have to pay $25 for someone did not take and that the dr told me was free in the beginning. if I pay what else are they going to charge me. this a total rup off and no way to treat me or a veteran. I was Poole the last time I was thrrr, but the politeness is now gone. I don't like this situation. the dr told me that I would not have to pay another $1000, since the fungus is not clear, it has been 1 yr and several months since treatment began I am on an extended treatment . I hope after this review thst I am not charged another $1000, because what I was told about the topical sol and cream were not true. Dr. Roith came across as a very experienced and calm doctor who genuinely cares about all his patients with an great, caring, and a little jovial bedside manner. I went to my appointment with the thought of removing the toenail, as per all the previous doctors I had shown it to - NP, PCP and even Dermatologists and he made me feel at ease and told me not to worry, and that we will work on it with his treatment (so practical and easy to follow) to eradicate the issue. I went to my primary care physician and another podiatrist and received unsatisfactory recommendations. I was then referred to Dr. Roith and immediately appreciated the way he looked for and addressed the "root cause" of my foot pain and developed a surgical plan accordingly, as a final resort.
