I wish I had known long ago how easy it was to take care of an ingrown toenail. Dr. Linde and his…read morestaff got it taken care of quickly with a very short recovery that just involved me wearing open toe shoes for a few days and covering with a bandaid. He also helped me get on top of my plantar fasciitis issues. All without saying "just wear ugly shoes"! Highly recommend!

This doctor did not prepare me well for how difficult recovery would be. I only had experience…read morewith one doctor and out of respect, I will not mention his name. After the procedure, if I had not had help, I would have had the impossible task of taking care of myself. They expect you to be able to take off work or deal with intense pain with no pain medicine. Our healthcare system has been ruined. If you have a procedure here, do not be under the assumption they care about your pain. The doctor had to stick me multiple times(over 6 shots in each toe) with lidocaine to numb my toes. On the bright side, most of the staff was amazing and kind. Also, they got me a quick appointment and got me back to a room very quickly.

He consistently takes the time to carefully consider the information I share and thoughtfully evaluates my concerns before making recommendations. What I appreciate most is that he does not take a "quick fix" approach to medicine. Unlike some providers I have seen in the past, he has never dismissed my concerns. He is patient, respectful, and genuinely attentive. His nurse is also exceptionally kind and caring, which makes every visit a positive experience. Although I have not been under Dr. Lee's care for very long, I have been so impressed with the quality of care that I fully expect to remain his patient until he retires.

Great doctor and great advocate for patients…read more Office and lab however are a disaster! He's been my doc for 40 years and I trust him. Office staff is just short of rude and lab is very slow - 20-30 minute wait even with appointment. Labcorp results took over two weeks to be presented! You will typically wait for all services.

Excellent doctor. Every single staff member has been helpful and courteous on multiple occasions…read more Dr. Carr spends as much time with me as necessary. Never treats me as though he is in a hurry. Listens and explains until I am satisfied. Has performed 4 surgeries plus knee injections on me, so I have spent a lot of time in his office, and they have consistently demonstrated they care.

I had surgery on October 11th of this year and up to this date, I haven't got any better. After surgery I visited his office twice to have my knee drained from fluid building up. So after so much time has passed and I'm not any better, I decided to seek out another orthopedic surgeon. As it turns out I still have a torn meniscus plus a piece of metal in my knee. The metal wasn't there prior to my surgery with Dr. Carr because I have the X-rays to prove it. I cannot recommend Dr. Carr. I feel that if he done my surgery correctly, then I wouldn't be heading back to the operating room, especially with a piece of metal in my knee.

As a prior patient of other pain clinics in Birmingham, I can say that unlike the other pill mills,…read moreThe Doleys Clinic staff has been wonderful, helpful, and sincere about finding out why I am in pain and helping me managing it. They offer both homeopathic medicines as well the standard medications. Dr. Jimmeh (who sadly left during COVID) was the most knowledgeable and helpful, she was one of the best pain/neurologist doctors I've seen ever. The staff is always helpful, and easy to work with, Especially when BC/BS messes with medication coverage. Sadly after Dr. Jimmeh left I was put with another doctor, him and I didn't see eye to eye and my confidence in the Doleys clinic lagged. I may have left but I would still very much recommend them as one of the few good pain clinics in the Birmingham area. Just remember, although you are a patient, you are also a customer, so don't be afraid to be assertive and ask questions of your doctors. You will get the best care when you do.

Doctors are excellent, but the support staff and billing process have been extremely frustrating…read more I received a "First and Final Notice" for a bill more than two years after my visit. Despite multiple attempts, I have been unable to reach the billing department. When I called the office for assistance, they were unable to help and simply transferred me back to billing, where no one answers the phone. To make matters worse, the note on the bill threatened collections. I attempted to pay the balance online, but the Phreesia payment system froze and would not complete the transaction. At this point, I have tried every available option: The billing department does not answer calls. The office staff cannot answer billing questions. Calls are routed back to billing with no resolution. The online payment system is not functioning. The physicians may provide good care, but the administrative and billing experience has been unacceptable. If patients cannot get answers to billing questions or make payments through the available channels, there are serious organizational issues that need to be addressed. Unfortunately, this experience has earned a well-deserved one-star review..
