During our time as tenants, our HVAC unit failed during a hot period. Lisa immediately stepped in to make sure we were taken care of, providing temporary cooling units until repairs were completed. Ms. Wood was not our realtor but she was our buyer's realtor. The day we we're trying to move out,…read morewe were struggling. My mom, 23 year old son an'd I were still packing and moving and had been since 5am. The day we moved, she brought the new residents with her and just marched into our home, which was still ours because the papers weren't signed yet, I guess. Anyway she invites herself in and comes back to the bedroom where my mom was sweeping the floor and my poor dad, who was undergoing chemotherapy at the time, watched. Her attitude was very aggressive and demeaning towards my 75 year old partner who we were helping and we had movers. She has changed her website from aggressive realtor to progressive realtor after she told my mom "I'm an aggressive realtor" and my mom said "yes you are". They had words. Just don't use her unless you want someone who is "aggressive". Then go for it. I actually think she probably is good if you need an agent who looks out for THEIR clients but treats the seller like doo and you don't care about that - go for it! She doesn't treat people nice and I don't think she learned respect for elders.

Dawson Boyer made the home selling (and buying) experience enjoyable from start to finish. He did…read morethis by giving us a detailed outline and projections months ahead of our planned listing date. As the time approached to actually put our house on the market, him and his team did a thorough job of providing our family with a strategy for staging our home. This really made a difference when it came time for prospective buyers to tour the house. When deciding on the listing price of our home, Dawson was able to provide examples and convey his knowledge of the area to help come up with solid number. Constant communication was given to us when we had questions and on updates with scheduling, offers, terms, etc. Never did we feel like we were in the dark, everything was transparent. The selling process was painless, smooth, and efficient. We are extremely happy we choose Dawson and his team to be our real estate agent. ~ Jason Wells

Veterans United referred them to us and our experience was awful…read more Ann never cared about anything other than getting her commission and it ranged from us being ignored, to flat out lied to several times. And that's not me being bitter, I have the texts and emails to back it up. We asked about negotiating the commission for the agents and she told us "it doesn't really work that way" when yes, it DOES work that way. Both she and the buyers agent got a full 3% for doing almost nothing when the agent we used to buy our new home worked her BUTT off and only received 2.5%. Deadlines were missed, addendums were not drawn up by the other party and after a week or two had passed, she then decided she could draw it up instead. We were almost always the ones who had to initiate contact to find out why things hadn't been scheduled and when stuff would happen, when we asked for input she would respond with comments like "It's your money, it's your choice." When we were paying HER for that professional knowledge. I've never sold a house before. I don't know. We ended up using AI to negotiate a counteroffer, telling Grok the terms of our appraisal and offers and "he" told us how to negotiate and what terms to ask for. We also had to rely heavily on our buying agent when things our selling agent did was not in our best interest and needed to be addressed, like wanting to list things the house came with like the washer/dryer WHICH THEY TOOK PICTURES OF IN THE LISTING - a picture just of the stacked washer and dryer, not the laundry closet they were in - but she would not include it in the appliances because "they will have to negotiate for it so they feel like they are getting value for it". But at the time, we had to leave it. If they failed to negotiate for it, we would have been stuck with it or trying to sell it. So we had to get our buying agent to help us get our selling agent to actually listen to what we wanted. Repeatedly. Neighborhood amenities were left off of the listing (which were a big deal in this specific family-centered subdivision) and we even addressed the listing photos looking nothing like our house because of how AI edited they were but she kept saying how much she loved them and how great they were we eventually let that slide. The listing was supposed to be posted days prior but wasn't and we addressed at our very first meeting how quickly we needed the sale to move because my father was dying and I needed to fly home. Our house was supposed to close July 15. Gave me time to get the move settled, then fly home. But our sale kept getting delayed. And we kept getting "it's not my fault. I'm doing everything I can. It's not me." We were told then July 21. Then 24th. Then July 27th. Then an undetermined date after we find out at 7:45pm the 25th that they still aren't cleared to close and she hasn't actually talked to them even though she has been telling us "you're good, they signed a contract." before we were supposed to leave the 26th. So we cancelled our uhaul, our hotel room and asked what we could do to protect ourselves from getting a last minute "okay, NOW we have the money, get out of the house" when at this moment, our contract deadlines have been stomped on repeatedly. And we get no response. And during all of this, the seller of the house we are going to buy keeps getting madder at us and asking for reassurances that our buyers will actually buy the house so I will have the money to buy her house, and she was willing to give us until mid afternoon to provide something from our buyers. We received that document at the end of the day, and the metadata of the document said that it was created hours earlier. So had we received it when our agent did, she probably wouldn't have decided to cancel our contract on the house we were buying. We had to offer her $3000 more to not cancel the contract so now I'm paying even MORE money because of this. Back to our buyers finally getting their crap together and remember how I was ignored when I asked how we could protect ourselves from last minute possession of the house? Yeah, at noon we get the call that they got their money and want the house tomorrow, so we have hours to clear out the rest of the stuff that we had actively been using and were going to get a uhaul to carry down to the new house. You know, the important stuff that couldn't be shipped ahead because we actually need it. Though now, we can't get a uhaul on a few hours notice, so we have to pack up only our most important stuff and throw out everything else. We leave at 10pm, drive all night to our new house and our seller is so pissed about the lack of communication from our agent, she refuses to sell to us. My family was homeless because of her incompetence. And at midnight, two hours after we leave, we get the phone call letting us know when the funeral will be, so I am very angry that Ann knew our urgency but only moves quickly when it's time to take our money. Avoid this firm.
