This was one of the worst experiences in a primary care office that I've ever had! First, the wait was atrocious -- my appointment was at 3pm (I arrived at 2:30pm), but wasn't seen until 4pm. As I waited in the waiting room, I observed the doctor and the front desk staff socializing instead of pulling me back. Apparently my time wasn't their concern. The nurse was friendly, but the facility itself was not very clean at all. Dr. Garris refused to give me a Rx saying it wasn't available even though it was! This meant that I would have to purchase it over-the-counter so it would not be covered by insurance. The prescriptions I was given were completely messed up and she sent me for testing and the orders took ONE MONTH to rectify. What a joke!!! I ended up switching to a different PCP and their office requested records. They REFUSE to send them unless I pay $12. This is not only ILLEGAL, but it disrupts the continuity of care. I work in the medical field and I have never seen a more pointless medical office. Shame on her! DO NOT GO HERE. read more
