This Sheetz was a convenient stop off of Rt. 285 as our car pool was approaching Winston-Salem (who names a city after cigarettes?). A mini roadtrip is no fun without a stop at a Gas Station for snacks and drinks. And IMHO, Sheetz is one of the better stops for stuff like that. They had the Sheetz Bros. coffee and they do make one heck of a Mocha that seems pretty consistent from Sheetz to shining Sheetz. They also had MTOs but we did not partake at all. We stopped at Sheetz for gas and a quick snack on the road to our grandparents. This store has lots of food items that are made to order, as well as coffee and even milkshakes. My husband and I had the cheese curds, which hit the spot and were perfect to eat while driving- not messy at all. The prices here can be deceiving because the specials are for loyalty members or those who use the app. Overall, it is in line with other convenience stores, and you pay for that convenience. read more

Was driving back from Spencer to Greensboro, and was down to about a quarter tank of fuel. Noticed the road sign for Sheetz and fueled up there. I appreciate that they are generally lesser priced than most stations, and the Sheetz loyalty program is an automatic $ .03 off that price. All worked well at the pump and I was back on the road quickly. read more

I stopped in this morning for some coffee and was disappointed to find that they switched to a non-drip coffee. The system is an instant brew and the machine makes a big point of telling me how great and fresh it'll be. Unfortunately, the coffee tastes weird and it's not as good as their previous drip brew coffee. They used to have some of the best gas station coffee. Too bad. read more

I'm not the biggest fan of Sheetz in general - always seem crowded with cars everywhere parked at all angles, and the food is very ordinary, and the employees often seem dazed and confused. But I needed gas, and stopped in here. While the gas was pumping I went inside to grab a local paper. Paid for it, and as I was walking out, the young lady behind the counter said - You better check the date on that paper. I did, and it was 3 days old. Nice catch, young lady, well played! read more

A gas station located on the way to family's home in the middle of nowhere. I also got a free doughnut here from a check-in on Foursquare. The doughnut was really good and large in size. These stations are known for having cheaper gas prices than some others. Consider them a smaller version of 7-Eleven since you can also get food here and look around in their stores. This one was clean and staff was friendly enough. read more
