And if you pay close attention they are always near the local competition for western Pennsylvania, Sheetz. Speedway is basically Sheetz in just about every way. So if you have never been to a Speedway before but have been to a Sheetz, you already know what you are in for. Most of the same. Prepackaged snacks, coolers full of drinks, coffee bar with all the fixings and a place to order a quick meal to either take with you or eat in house in the small cafe section. This location is pretty new in the sense that it hasn't been open long. It is quite huge and can accommodate an onslaught of vehicles at any given time. Inside is nice and big as well. Customer service was alright, make sure you get their savings card, whatever the name of it is. The only thing I don't like about this place is the close proximity to the scenic hotel that has been there for years. All the sudden you now have a 24 hour gas station as a neighbor, get a room facing the other way now.

With there not being much competition in this area of Greensburg, the prices aren't always great. The inside portion is cramped, actually this whole place is cramped. Try to come here when there is a delivery, it's almost impossible. Merchandise is limited as to what can be purchased.

Yelp, little side note here, just because something that is listed as Route 30 for the address does not mean that they are all the same business, Route 30 is a rather long stretch of road. Another thing that makes it hard is that this business does not have an actual physical address. Well if you want to get here, just look for the plaza that houses both Giant Eagle and Target as well as several other stores. The prices here are the norm for the Greensburg area, not much competition in pricing as they all seem to have the same pricing, even with the loyalty card. However for here you didn't know what the price was until you pulled up to the pump, the sign appeared to be broken and out of service. Small convenience store, nothing special.

I stopped by because my low tire pressure alert came on-- mostly likely just because it's ridiculously cold out. He not only checked the tire in question for me free of charge, but went ahead to double check the pressure on the rest of them just in case, and did it with a smile in almost-zero-degree-weather. Thanks, kind stranger!

The improvements are great, but this place can't be made any larger and it needs to be. I come here for gas as it is cheaper than any other stations near me. There is no drive-thru or car wash. It can't compare to the Sheetz by Blairsville in Route 22. Love that one. I am wishing that corporate Sheetz management would consider building a station on route 30 east of Greensburg, like the ones in Blairsville or Murrysville. Still 4 stars- the staff here is hard working and friendly.

Just last night I stopped here on my travel home in need of gas and to use the facilities. This place was helpful for one part of this trek, but not so much for the other. I know that every and any business has the right to not have a public restroom and I am fine with that. However if you do choose to do this there is no need to post a sign that states this. The front door has a sign that states that not only do they NOT have a public restroom, but to go to your choice of three nearby businesses to use their facilities. If I had known this before I stopped here, I would not have stopped. I was hoping to kill two birds with one stone and because of that I had to make another stop several miles up the road before I could relieve myself. The guy that was working was less than helpful and on the grumpy side. Like when I showed up I had awakened him from his slumber.

I had been taking different roads this night and found myself in nearby Youngwood. After I left a nearby establishment, I realized I forgot to get something to drink. I pulled in here and it felt familiar. That is because I have been on this plot of land a very long time ago. Well before this lot of land was a Speedway, it was a King's Family Restaurant. It is just an odd location for a business. It is about the midway point between two areas flush with businesses. But nothing else is around it that is worth mentioning. It is a bit odd inside. The setup throws you for one. It is a basic rectangular building, but it feels like it slants on the inside. Everything is done at a slant. Even the registers. I will say this about Speedway. Out of all the gas station convenience stores out there, they seem to have the most vast selection of drinks. I appreciate this as I am a bit picky when it comes to my choice of drink and get a bit flabbergasted when I cannot find what I want. For a late night stop, it is not a bad place to do so. It seems to be frequented by truckers a lot just so you know.

I went inside the store and just bought hot dog and a drink or something and only spent about $5 because I just wanted to see if the gift card worked on my newly activated account. It worked. I forgot about the rest of my balance on the card. I went to use it like a year later but the gift card money that I had on my app was gone. Maybe it expired or something. I think that's kind of awful. It was a long time but why would it expire and why would they take my money? If it worked at the gas pump to begin with I would have just used the whole card there. I'm only out like $15-$20 but why would I go back when I could go to Sheetz or GetGo or some other place?
