I'd love to provide a review of a fantastic experience that I had yesterday (5/20/2024) at this…read morestore. I was having car trouble en route from Frostburg MD to Annapolis MD. My 2015 Audi Q7 started making a terrible noise as if something was dragging under the vehicle. I was in a pretty remote area by myself with my vehicle packed to the gills with the contents of my son's dorm room. I was lost on a back road following directions to a gas station when a friendly mom waiting at a bus stop for her child suggested I make my way to Love's. It was a stressful 6 mile drive, but I am very grateful for her advice! I arrived at Love's in a stressed state, thinking that I was about to need to call AAA, get towed, unload the entire contents of the vehicle, and maybe stay in a hotel as I was over 2 hours from home. I walked in and asked the first person I saw if there was a mechanic available. Almost immediately, there were 3 employees around me, chatting, asking about what was going on, being supportive, and calling back to Brandon who came to my aid right away. It was clear that there is a policy at Love's that the service department is intended for truck drivers/18 wheelers. It was also clear that Love's employees have the autonomy to help a person in need of help if the situation permits. It took them about 60 seconds to decide to help me. Brandon's only condition was that I remove any Taylor Swift CDs from playing before he checked out the car. This lightened the mood! Brandon checked out my tires, took the car for a short drive in the parking lot, and looked under the hood. He determined that one of my tires was likely slightly misaligned and that the extra load from the dorm contents was causing the tread to hit differently and therefore make this noise. He said that his professional advice (and the advice he would give to his wife/kids) would be to head home, despite the noise, and have the alignment checked within a week or so. He also said that the noise would possibly stop at some point on my drive as the vehicle gradually adjusted to the load. This all turned out to be true! I am home safely, the dorm contents have been unloaded, and I'm about to call my local mechanic to take a look at the alignment. Everyone in this store clearly aligns (no pun intended) with the values that you share on your website: Clean Places, Friendly Faces in each location across the country, every day. The Love's difference is a dedication to treating each other like family and taking care of each other.

Mt Top Convenience…read more Shades of Colassessano's Matriculating into Fairmont State in the 1960's entailed an array of eventful activities which enhance and develop life. As a subscriber of direct on campus education, I eagerly embraced campus life. One element was selecting membership in Theta Xi. Weekly meetings were accompanied by a Theta Xi gathering at Colassessano's which was a colorful Fairmont Pub. Sadly this institution has been replaced by a sanitized version. During that era, Pittsburgh beers appealed to the working class, and popular labels included Iron City Lager, Fort Pitt Beer, Pabst Blue Ribbon, Schlitz, Miller High Life.... As a three year high school letterman, and scholar athlete, I had zero experience with beer, wine, spirits, and shine - all were available to Fairmont State students. I was not yet eligible to hold a draft card. While Theta Xi brothers debate the advantage of various Pittsburgh beers, I was happy to purchase a pitcher of nearly any cold draft. Given decades of European travel, I developed a palette for several German and European brews; none of which were offered at Colassessano's. In retrospect it is this appreciation of European brews that spared me from the emerging micro brewing craze. Ok, some of these brews are very good, and several are horrendous. It was at Colassessano's and the publican that I encountered my first Pepperoni Roll. Home baked rolls included mozzarella, ricotta, and Parmigiano. And Oliverio's Hot Peppers were added to this bundle from heaven. Later we learned to cherish the Colassessano's pizza. This pie seemed to approximate a Chicago deep dish pie with mozzarella, ricotta, and Parmigiano, Oliverio's Hot Peppers, pepperoni, hot sausage, .... Mt Top Convenience is listed on the West Virginia Pepperoni Trail, and for good reason. I take care to phone in an order form Ohio one day in advance of pickup. Of course, I visit the local Davis grocery store for a dozen bottles of Oliverio's Hot Peppers. I take care to import Pilsner Urquell and Guinness Stout for this ski holiday. Yes, Guinness Stout is better in Ireland. Mt Top Convenience offers a variety of interesting brews, and there are several microbreweries in this area. Mt Top Convenience offers a great take on pepperoni rolls. Caveat: do Not take chances with filling station pepperoni rolls which are pre-packaged. Our goal is to support local business, and our menu and dining options for this holiday will center on local West Virginia businesses.

I bought some snacks, coffee and news here. The girl at the counter did not even say a word. NOT. A. WORD! Guess I erroneously thought a small town A+P 'Convenience''d be friendly.. nah. They have gas, booze, food and beer. (Some of the drinks, cold brew coffee, O-juice etc. we're past the expiration date - as a woman stated below on the reviews here on Yelp!) Rebel review: 4

You know how you find yourself taking a way home you've never taken before? And it's in the middle…read moreof a snowstorm? No, you haven't? Well I have. I took the advice of my father to take a "safer" way home while coming back from an out of town trip. Here's a tip, in the digital age, sometimes Google outweighs a father's advice. While taking the father suggested route I needed gas before I got home. Being on a road I had no idea where it was going to take me I literally pulled into the first gas station that I saw along the road. That brings us to here. I pulled in and because of the snow the lot is a slip sliding mess. Gas pricing was your basic Pennsylvania pricing. Then you go inside. I'm not sure what to make of the inside here. It's so many things crammed into one small space. I couldn't even focus. I went and got myself a drink and then to the counter. This has to be a place in this small town that everyone knows everyone, whether you like it or not. The kid working the counter talked to everyone that came in. I finally got my drink and cigarettes and ran out the door. Not that I didn't want to be here, it was just so busy inside.

Week went by and took it in on Monday 11/6/23 and my brother was told 400 everything included in front of his workers..maybe for except for taxes. bring it back Tuesday 11/7/23 Took it in Tues Morning and Chris was out all morning. I wanted to talk with him before repair. I got a call from chris saying the car was repaired and it was $472 far from 400 + taxes maybe 422.00 so where did an extra $50 come from???? I think it's very inappropiate and extremely unprefessional to quote someone and say it's all included and then find out from the bill it was an additional $50. If you have been in business for years one should know what it's going to be charged or within $20. I ask a lady there to have Chris call me to talk about the bill...I never got a call back. It shows how unimportant customers become once he has your money. I think this was very bad business like and I just hope his work is as good as what he charged. Relationships are built on HONESTY !! NOT changing your mind when creating the bill. Thinking about getting it inspected by a "Certified" mechanic. Be warned.... know exactly what your going to be charged from this station!!!! get in writing!!! Karma always comes back around !!!!!!! Hope people reads this review.I wished I wouldvd
