Unveiled in 1991 and relocated to here in 1999, this extensive sculpture is located next to a large office building along Oxford Street.
It was created by artist Deborah Brown and depicts a herd of sheep seemingly stopped in mid-movement as they travel. Each sheep is meticulously detailed, with textures and poses that appear nearly genuine. Set against the backdrop of modern city life, this bronze sculpture bridges the gap between Belfast's rural past and its metropolitan present, providing both residents and visitors with a delightful reminder of the city's diverse history.
